I'm not sure why anyone's overly worried about tariffs with then. The main one I doubt they'll side with Trump on is ending birthright citizenship. As much as I'd love to see it, I doubt it's likely at all. I'd also like to see them throw out the NFA, since after reducing several of the 'tax stamps' to $0 it becomes pretty much an illegal law for the most part. I give that one 50/50 by 2028 to go.
My only issue with Vance is that Trump has absolutely enormous Charisma and stage presence that's almost one of a kind.
Vance does have positive qualities that Trump does not. He seems more conservative with words and more focused when speaking. After years of listening to Trump kind of ramble having someone with some of the same humor and lightness mixed with more precise speech will probably be a winner.
