Attention and power over the pigroach. He isn't the first and won't be the last that crave attention on the internet because they are sad losers and get a kick out of donating tons of money to attract the ire of the detractors and get off when they can say bannable things in his chat and dsp takes it like a good little bitch because he will always choose money over self-respect. Just a few posts ago, someone showed screenshots of him shouting out raw phil's chat. He's really desperate for that attention; it's pathetic. And he was banned and promptly unbanned because phil will put up with it for the money.

I agree, but Phil is less more than just a beggar. I think he would be happy Door Dashing his slop, sitting in his room ignoring his wife while playing Champions and doomscrolling Twitter, and never leaving the house. EXCEPT...he's a narc, and it eats him more than all those things that he doesn't get the respect he deserves. He's an Elder Statesman of Gaming, a former pro fighting game player, an innovator who created Let's Plays. He should be invited to tournaments as a commentator, sought out for advice by top players, streaming to an audience of tens of thousands just dying to know what Phil thinks of the Hot New Releases. I think it kills him that his audience is entirely regarded and trolls, which is why he hates them so much, and that he's constantly mocked by thousands for his low IQ and shitty gaming and wife who is very FAT, which is why he is always getting that groove back and getting popular again (lol) and the Internet loves him now. I think it's why he jumps at the chance to be interviewed (provided it isn't by an idiot or troll who won't abide by his conditions or try to contact him in ways he doesn't approve of.) Money is always a thing for Phil, but I think he's more gassed up by the thought of so many people watching him, of somebody asking HIM questions because they want to know what HE has to say, and also sussessful people get interviewed. So if Dave is being interviewed, he's sussessful.

I know he pignotised them into fearing the detractors so they have to do that, but it's so weird they don't question themselves while they're doing that with the number of steps required.

Nothing quite like watching him play FPS games. He will get the drop on people completely behind them and still lose the 1v1 9 out of 10 times. It's honestly absurd.

Had a bit of a crash out about detractors apparently to start the night stream ill have to go back to watch.

ICS is a huge attention whore, after leaving DSP the first time and trying to join the detractors only to get mocked and shunned, he realized the best attention is the negativity he gets from supporting DSP from detractors.

He tried to get interviews with TBS and Doody but they knew not to give him that level of attention.

Nah, as I said, Phil is a beggar.

I know it's a concept that is hard to fully grasp, specially if you're from a wealthy country and haven't spent much time outside of it, but beggars are almost all scammers, like 99% of them, even most of the ones with serious disabilities already had scammer mentality before they were disabled. Its a low level scam, yes, but its a scam. Phil cares nothing for acceptance, he cares for his ability to extract money from people. He cares for how easily he can engage in a transaction in which he extracts value from someone for as little as possible in return, preferably nothing. Everything else is just the means to reach that goal.

He doesn't demand respect for respect's sake, cause he doesn't even see humans as worthy of interacting with except for the possibility of extracting some value from them, this includes even his very own parents.

He sees titles as a means to entice viewers to transact money to him as a figure of authority, streaming is to Phil what a out of tune violin is to a beggar in a subway station, etc. All of it is nothing but a begging tool, which is ultimately Phil's preferred scam.

He hates detractors cause exposition to his antics reduces beg potential by making him look unimportant and irrelevant instead of authoritative and his victimhood as false and comical instead of pitiful.

It really is not that deep, this is how all beggars operate.
