Which is exactly what Biden and Kamala recognized. The only disagreement they probably had with Zelensky on the matter is if Putin needed to be dead before they called the issue over and dealt with.

I'd like to draw your attention to the absolutely tacky as hell gold embellishments on the wall.

I like the concept of picking out the details on the doors and walls, but using gold leaf or (hopefully) paint on all of the decorations just looks so gaudy and cheap. (Which basically sums up everything about the man)

In my poorfag opinion, gold and silver like that should be accents that highlight the bits you'd most like peoples eyes to be drawn to. It's very easy to overuse and the effect is distracting to the eye, rather than restful.

I really hope that other rich people, especially the old money types, don't all have this type of taste. Because this is not aspirational.

I don't think so. If there's anything Donald's ego is absolutely massive. What Putin is doing by continuing the war on his end is denying him the opportunity to look like a peacemaker, thus striking a massive blow to his ego. I personally think that Vladimir Putin absolutely fed his ego, but this strategy's backfired because for once the ego feeding didn't fit into their national interests.

Because of this failed opportunity at peace, Donald will feel sour grapes and revert to what has been the default US stance with Russia for the past however so many years. Peter Zeihan explains it better than I could. Granted some of his claims on other foreign policy issues have been questionable, but in this case I think he's right.

Eh, 50-50. As the article showing Trump willing to Putin without Zelenskyy shows, Trump is a sucker for anything that makes him look good and is desperate to work out some kinda peace within Ukraine-Russia to show how "he handled it."
The source grapes part was when Trump talked about taking away the restrictions put on Ukraine not being allowed to target outside their border. Which actually crossed Biden's actions i.e. he gave the goods and info to Ukraine, but made sure they would not be using that to attack outside the Ukranian border.
But if Putin APPEARS to kowtow (even if he doesn't), I imagine Donny would turn on a dime for his "best friend"
 
It's actually quite funny that in the midst of all this, Trump reminded the world why America cannot be trusted, and gave power to America's enemies. The EU is now openly anti-Israeli, China has some new friends in the orient, and Russia has a new hope in ending the Ukraine War in their favor. Far from making America more respected, it's now become a game for powers like China, Russia, and the EU to see how far they can play America for a fool because Trump is a fool and they certainly can play him.

America's Dark Ages have begun, and it's all due to Trump.
