Can they request to have their lawsuits ajoined into one?
No. They're in different jurisdictions. You have to file where the infringement happens per statute

I could see a good play for them would be to point fingers at the reddit/discord mods and make one person out as the ring leader of this operation.
They're likely going to point fingers at each other. Also it's going to be a stretch to think some reddit fag janny is the person calling the shots. This will create a conflict of interest once the whores start claiming the other is Mr. Big.

If they both know who is responsible for the CPS stuff, which could potentially result in criminal charges down the line, it would make a lot of sense for Denims and Kaceytron to align their stories and stick to that version.
They certainly have had communications with the mods that were distinctly separate from each other and contain different levels of culpability. You can easily be in an adverse position for Client A and Client B.

Or if they go for a quick and dirty settlement, splitting the lawyer cost could be a good play too.
And when Ethan offers a deal to only Denims? Or he offers different deals to each of them?

Now there's confidentiality issues on top of the duty to zealous represent your client's best interest, and now the adverse positions.

.
If they really have the same firm representing them.........whoa buddy. This is the basic shit you learn in your ethics class, so they know better and this isn't an esoteric issue

Well, it seems like your IP is collected regularly but there's no statement about Null's retention policy.
Retention policy for IPs and other user info is 30 days, sometimes shorter depending on external factors. Null also publicly discloses when he has to comply with fed warrants and similar stuff when he can.

Reminds me; @Null, is the warrant canary ever coming back? git.kiwifarms.net hasn't been available since DKF.

An IP address is worthless

1. They're dynamic for 99% of people
2. VPNs
3. Reddit probably deleted the logs months ago
4. Assuming they didn't, he has to subpoena an ISP to provide their information on the customers tied to the IP on given dates. They deleted that shit months ago.
5. Ok, pretend they didn't. He needs a criminal investigation to have reason to get those records.
6. Pretend the old bat of a judge grants it. (Not happening). Pretend they kept logs from a fucking year ago (they don't). They'll just hand him like 1000000 pages of shit to parse.
7. Pretend (notice how many leaps of not happening are here) he parses this mythical data and gets a dummy who didn't use a vpn's name. Now he has to get a warrant to search the devices to prove some accused person did it. Based on exactly what crimes, again?? (Hey, if you were a mod over there, DO NOT (DO) wipe your devices thoroughly.) An IP address even if traced back to a customer of an ISP is not identifying information. It requires proof that the person in question created or controlled the accounts. (Thus why they definitely definitely shouldn't wipe all their shit. Nooo don't do that. It won't get to the point, but as they say in the mob "Why take a chance?")

I know that Redditors think other people are as dumb as they are, but pedos with significantly better opsec get found out.

I keep being impressed by their ability to keep two completely diametrical ideas in their heads and make them work together without issues. Is the answer to this conundrum that they are all just braindamaged retarded?
It's stubborness taken to the most extreme of extremes. People will gladly support some of the worst human beings in the world if it means they get to spite the people they don't like, even if those same evil human beings they support want to kill them. It's okay, as long as they hate the same person. It's the same thing as you see with politicians and their Trump Derangement syndrome. They'd rather doom and damn an entire state full of people then ever accept that the person they have a hate boner for is right.

It's also the same rationale that's used by the people in this thread who believe Ethan using his dark jew voodoo on the nutjobs who threatened his children and wife is somehow a bad thing.

What can Elliot William Fong do? Which laws were broken? Calling him a fat chinktranny from Taiwan that will be reunited with the glorious mainland tomorrow to invoke TTD and he should kill himself right now isn't against the law. You can say it's distasteful but I'll say he deserves a worse fate than death.
You don't need to break any laws to get doxed by a lawsuit. If Liz wanted to spent the money and effort into subpoena'ing Josh for your deets because of this post, she could.

But there need to be enough there to convince the judge to order it.

You can't just "they called me a tranny with a humpback", do that and the judge will just respond "well, you ARE a tranny with a humpback. It is not a crime to call you that".

Reminder that one of the lawsuits currently facing this forum is Greer v. Moon, wherein the plaintiff is a braindead mongloid who constantly files batshit motions with numerous grammatical errors, threats to report the defendant's lawyer to the Bar Assocation, and has straight up lied about evidence. Despite all of that, the case has been going on for half a decade and the judge consistently grants Greer extensions to deadlines that he didn't ask for.

Courts of law are not computer programs that give an identical output for any given input. They are run by human beings who are given to being irrational, emotional, and stupid.

Not gonna lie, despite this being the headline for more than a day, I just read it as Ethan Ralph got judicial permission to dox Reddit jannies and was excited for the potential shitstorm.

Then I realized I’m a retard and I was sad for the content that could have been.
Dammit, that actually sounds waaay more interesting. Imagine all the Kino Casino content it'd create 🤔

& now I'll be joining you mourning what could have been 😭

Can't wait for all these retards to drop the "revolution" and give revised statements on the dangers of falling into radioactive pipelines designed to manipulate people into spewing hatred against political foes (or some shit like that)

*pending settlement approval*

It’s wild how as scummy as Ethan can be, yet he always finds people even worse than him who make him look like a saint in comparison.

Ethan’s is very shady himself. Easy to forget how he loves scheming behind the scenes to ruin careers, like he did with Furry Pyro (a creep, sure, but that’s not why Ethan went after him—Pyro didn’t even cross Ethan). Or how he’s a two-faced jerk who plays nice to people’s faces, then trashes them the second turn their backs.

Or how he censored Gokanaru’s spot-on critique of him using his connections. Not to mention he loves to treat some people as subhuman or beneath him etc.

But damn, I still root for him over redditors, Hassan, and his orbiters (like Anissa and iDubbbz). Compared to them, he’s practically a saint. Just a dad protecting his family.

Thread tourist here, why is it that Reddit can hand out info with a subpoena while Quasi, best known for having Patrick S Tomlinson pay him, is someone who didn't have to give out any info at all? Better lawyer? Different venue? Or does Reddit really not know that much beyond an email address since jannies do it for free and aren't paid by Reddit?

A few things:

Quasi (pbuh) did comply with the subpoena for user information
Patrick tried to sue John Does 1-60 (Quasi being JD01)
In this attempt he subpoena'd Google and Cloudfare for Quasi's private info in a bid to further obtain the IP and email addresses (and identity) of John Does 2-60
Being the site owner/admin at the time, meant he fell under s230 protection and he contested it.
Here Patrick had to prove that what QUASI had done was defamatory, libel etc.
He couldn't and thus the subpoena(s) was quashed.

At this point, Quasi had already handed over the IP's (there are none, they are not logged :lossmanjack:) and also the email addresses associated with the accounts. The issue is that there is no requirement for the email address to be valid so when Pat's lawyer (Brinton Resto) received the list and it contained entries like brintonresto@rapeskids.com and similar, they rejected it and continued requesting the info and keeping Quasi in the suit.

TLDR: Patrick tried to sue the users AND the owner of the platform (quasi). The users information was handed over but Quasi refused to identify himself under 1st amendment and s230 (leading to the payquasi*).
Ethan is (attempting) suing just the users, not Reddit. Reddit legal are not going to fight a court order with no skin in the game.

* @AnOminous explained the quash part

Funny how everyone just jumps to using a VPN like nothing stops a VPN when you could set up Whonix in the same time it takes to make an account and give away all your info. Oh wait… give away all your info, lol.

Ah yes Null the paragon of thought and reason who's only banned people for making fun of his autistic cheese sperg outs a few times.
In that case all you need to do is go to your local supermarket (not Walmart) and take a picture of the cheese department (usually in the deli).

It doesn't matter if you are being just a massive prick for suing someone just because you hate those guts, you're still legally allowed to sue them. There was a famous science fiction author who was a massive Dick bag who loved suing people about posting even one page of his books. He was a complete and utter asshole. But he gets points because he. Said that the far left is going to ruin science fiction and fantasy writing, and he was right. He won every single lawsuit. Because he may have been an asshole. But he was right when it came to the legal system. Which is the only thing that matters. You can be as vindictive as you want as long as you are in the right when it comes to the court of law.
Ethan still cares about his image, though. He had a whole twenty-minute video explaining why he specifically went after the people he did, and the basis was rooted in copyright infringement, and is not going after every reaction video, much less anyone who criticizes him.

I'm sure there are lots of places that archive his videos in a way that doesn't give him views, but someone like Denims bragging about not giving him views while taking in superchats gives Ethan definitive proof that he can sue for damages.

Generally, a lawyer will tell you not to announce that you will sue someone before actually doing it but if Ethan sued these people out of the blue he'd look like a litigious asshole, while you could argue his "I'm suing these three YouTubers" was theater for another video full of views, it was also because just serving papers would be bad optics.

I this a challenge for KF users to take the most cursed cheese selection picture?

I know we are drifting off topic, but this sounds like a great community game.
The winner gets a perma ban as the prize.
