Gaming Youtubers who don't suck?

It comes down to personal preference.

I guess if you're into "essays" I've found myself not immediately closing the videos of Tehsnakerer (unless you hate wordplay and alliteration and other "dry british humor" staples but I like the games he talks about), Majuular , Dungeon Chill (may be a bit of a pretentious fag as you can tell from his titles) or MrEdders123 (may be a bit too clinical instead of being entertaining but some people may like that)

Running Shine was my favorite of the bunch since I like his humor and his videos shed off any pretense of this being a srsbsns academic essay and feels like someone on an imageboard passionately writing huge walls of text about a game he likes or dislikes in video form and those were my favorite parts of /v/.
He has fucked off from making videos for the past two years since his life is apparently too good to spend on eceleb shit, so that's a bit of a rare development for a youtuber. And he also didn't release often to begin with.

If you're into just straight up entertainment you most likely have zero shortage of people to watch even if their shit may be for an audience at least two decades younger than you are. Just look around and eventually you'll filter out the people you like and the people you dislike even if they are embarrassing to watch or whatever.

Yeah, I enjoyed his YIIK review a lot.

Lyle Shnub is the only Let's Player I watch regularly. He's generally funny and insightful and not a coomer. Just a pleasant guy to listen to and he plays the games well. He plays Western RPGs mostly, Elder Scrolls and Fallout and Pillars of Eternity and such.

I got some for ya but I can't promise they'll be to everyone's tastes.

Just Background Noise and Joov do challenge videos mainly on Bethesda games and alike. They both also stream on Twitch and have secondary channels for their VODs which you can find linked on their main channels. Solid general purpose content, JBN is a bit better than Joov IMO but both do a fine job.

Another guy who does cool stuff and has a similar secondary VOD channel setup is Ambiguous Amphibian, and he plays a different variety of games like Kenshi, the SIMS, Project Zomboid, etc.

Martincitopants is somewhat famous for his series where he drove over 6000km in My Summer Car for charity. Definitely noteworthy.

Speaking of noteworthy Luke TheNotable is the only Minecraft content creator worth watching. His gimmick is doing 100 days survival videos in Hardcore with various restrictions like biome locks or no mining. He also has a really cool ongoing series that gets updated every 1000 days, as of now he's passed 4000 days on that series and its genuinely fascinating to see what he's accomplished in that time. I haven't played Minecraft in over half a decade so you don't have to play the game to appreciate his content.

Specifically for War Thunder I recommend Spookston and DOLLARplays. Newcomer Mr. Bucket is also good and has a lot of potential but lacks video output at this time.

Settled is the undisputed GOAT of Old School Runescape content, definitely worth checking out.

Wilburgur and his ongoing Autism Cat series is fucking hilarious. He even made a custom Autism Cat mod for Oblivion so you A S C E N D.

Do you like Lord of the Rings? Do you like at least watching if not also playing RTS games? Meet Izzy who for years has made videos doing different campaigns in Third Age: Total War - Divide and Conquer. A Lord of the Rings total war mod.

And finally a we've got Sorcerer Dave. Dave specializes in really well done story driven LPs of various games. He also streams on Twitch in a similar but less formalized manner. Unfortunately YouTube is no longer his full time job so the frequency of his output has gone down, but on the plus side he's got a big back log of series you can work through. The same friend who introduced me to Dave also taught me how to put a cross in my name so shoutout to him.

lol he admitted in one of his Q&As that he is gay and an admitted furry.
He makes good videos, and he doesn't inject them with identity politics. I recommend the videos, not the lifestyle. Also he hates CAS so you get to watch him suffer which is hilarious.

If anything, War Thunder is infested with femboys and homos.
Bullying those faggots is half the fun of playing the game.

OneyPlays when that faggot Corey isn't in it

There's a lot of great older channels, 2012-2015 era The Creatures videos are maximum comfy, they did a lot of IRL stuff but if you just want gaming here's the playlist. If you like them, you may also like their successor Cow Chop but I never watched too much of them because they didn't have the same "magic". They also would livestream frequently, here's the archive channel for those

James and Mike Mondays was also pretty comfy, the episodes with Bootsy were top tier. Bootsy would guest star for some of the harder/bullshit games like Silver Surfer and they would just watch in awe as he achieved victory. Bootsy and Mike also had their own show which was basically the same thing but shorter and without James

How can you say that and not mention SBFP? Sure, these days Pat is a lunatic, Woolie is a nigger, Matt is a cuck, and Liam is dead, but back in the day they were hype beasts.

There's a channel that does well made compilations of their old LPs, you can find it here.

I don't know if any of these can be classified as "good" when compared to the others already mentioned, but I enjoy watching them and you might too.

There's Four Decent Friends who are basically unknown and post once every turn of the season. They're best known for their playthrough/commentary on Fallout: The Frontier but they have other videos mostly playing multiplayer co-op games.
Don is afraid of spiders.

For someone with a more regular schedule there's this Hazzor bloke who typically makes videos on Rimworld and Project Zomboid, though he's also been doing goofy challenge runs in Fallout 4.

Nano is some portuguese guy who plays a lot of miltary shooter type games. I'd compare him to SovietWomble but not nearly as funny and with a more consistent upload schedule.

And then the king of trash: Reggie. Aka "Sseth at home" or "Canadian Sseth". Despite him 100% aping Sseth's mannerisms, he's pretty entertaining in his own right and does his own thing other than the deep voice and the constant jokes about schizophrenia.

supergreatfriend is someone I've been enjoying for years. Old SALP dude who still does playthroughs of whatever interests him, lots of odd games. I believe he streams the games too but his format is purely made for VOD format so he doesn't talk with chat in the videos and there's no sub alerts or anything.

Good is subjective, have some suggestion vomit. I'll admit it's mostly background noise channels I'm subbed to.

Yes I like these two. I like Ross too. They are probably the only 3 I like. The recent Piglet video by a channel I used to watch here and there called Mind Pulp actually made me chuckle a little bit when I watched it the other day, you can tell the non-britbong fellow has been watching a lot of content made by some of the funnier old game commentators recently like Broteam and Retsuprae because his jokes are getting a little better, but I don't know much about the channel really. They seem okay, if not a little "bland" sometimes, I guess may be the word?

It's hard with video game commentator channels and I hesitate to even include anyone that I am not super familiar with because you never know what sort of faggy shit lurks within the annals of some of these video game content creator's channels that someone might associate with you by default if you were unaware of it and happen to mention their name as someone you have watched before.

MissieMae is very underrated, although she's been on/off for a few years ever since her boyfriend died and she fell into depression.
She's back now though and slowly putting out Fallout 4 vids.
But her New Vegas playthrough is great, and she seems to be "muh based" to some extent and frequently makes veiled right-wing meme references.

Welonz is another fave. Very thoughtful, thorough and just generally always in a good and upbeat mood.

Gilgamechasaur mostly covers weird games you've never heard of from the 90s. He goes pretty in depth and shares links to where you can acquire the ones that are forgottenware. He's pretty well read but isn't an obnoxious fag about it.
