Those men don't know what The Wall is. The Wall isn't about looks, or about your status as a woman, it's just a medical term. Pregnancy for you as a woman becomes more difficult and riskier after 30. It's not a marriage thing. It's not a looks thing. It's a medical thing. Most men don't know what The Wall is and they'll deny it.
Do you know what a wall is? It is generally, used colloquially, a hard, impermeable barrier. Inapposite metaphor to discussions of fertility or risks of complications for mother or child, unless you're talking menopause, hysterectomy or complete infertility.

Age (both over 35 and under 20) is a risk factor (one of many) for certain things. And a "risk" is not "more likely than not," and certainly not a given. In most cases related to complications and the like, it's more going from extremely rare to rare as you move through mid-30s.

35 is merely a general time of potentially discussion-worthy considerations. And no, 30 is not the new 35.

It's just considered medically risky.
Define "medically risky.".

Everything has risk. An increased risk of something does not ipso facto make a situation "risky," in the the sense of"ill-advised," or even "definitely probably will have complications." To call something "medically risky" as you did implies, in a lay setting at least, that it's not got a great shot at success at a minimum, and more often suggests a present and real threat to life or limb. That's inaccurate. Either you don't understand numbers or linguistic nuance, or you're deliberately being a jerk.

Using "medically risky" without explanation or an understanding of exactly what "risk" means in that context is misleading, Chicken Little.

You know, those risk factors don't suddenly appear. They appear over time and get more likely as you get older. You don't magically hit 35 and suddenly pregnancy is a bad idea. The age that pregnancy actually starts to become at risk to complications is around 25. But it's minor. By around 28-29 those odds become statistically significant, as in it's not some miniscule 0.0000003678 chance of having issues. The Wall doesn't round down, it's rounded up. By 35, you are considered a geriatric pregnancy and probably should not have children.

Bottom line is, if I want healthy children, why would I date a woman over 30? If I were woman and I wanted children, why would I wait till I'm 30 to have them? If anything, regardless of whether I am a man or woman, I am actively hurting my future children by waiting to have them.

All of this conjecture just comes off as you seething and bitter falding because you weren't as fortunate as Marge here to find a nice Jewgoy Boy.

It’s 26, being labelled geriatric primagravida, or it used to be anyway. Having kids after 35 is fine, waiting until you’re 35 to start having kids is a bad idea.

That’s a different issue though. If you’d married at 25 and had a kid every few years and wifey’s pregnant again at 35 you’d barely worry at all if she was healthy. You’d be a little more apprehensive at the 13 week screening but that’s probably it.
Kids at 35 and waiting to 35 to start are two different issues. The former is probably your last one and the latter means you’re going to be lucky to get more than one. So yeah if you want a big family, start early. Wish I’d started earlier, I’d have had ten by now :)

Dude that thread is a goldmine of autism especially for her, my favorite is her getting called a "sabbatean crypto jew".Ver archivo adjunto 5954939
The little title under her avatar was "crypto sabbatean jew" for a while because she was trying to own it lol.
I actually quite liked it, file that one under “insults that are compliments to non-crazy people”
Only because you flat out broke Cernovich. That guy lives in constant fear now of Feds or ANTIFA coming to murder death kill his family and he never stops malding about it. It's been years since then and he still goes on Tim Pool and goes on rants about how anyone can kill him now. It's pretty hilarious, but you also caused that sperg an awful amount of paranoia. If he doesn't have a thread yet, he will someday but you flat out snapped that man's brain in two lol. It's hilarious and sad.
I don’t know that I deserve all the credit; pre his wading into Gamergate to gin up more clout for himself, Cernovich was a law blogger with a bent on advising his readers that the state was gonna unperson them if they didn’t have surreptitious recordings of their sex encounters. (Spoiler alert: he cared about this so much because he cheated on his then-wife, IIRC her name is Ina Flores, and the other woman accused him of sexual assault. So Flores filed for divorce while Cernovich was dealing with those accusations. He pled guilty to a lesser charge and got like, 3000 hours of community service or something. It’s also why he would claim he “received 7 figure income” by age 39… he received it as part of his divorce settlement with his (much much more) successful ex-wife.
So I kind of think crazy and this guy had an acquaintance before he ever learned my name.

@Friend of Dorothy Parker you may be trying to use logic against cargo cult beliefs men trade with each other to justify sexism. I appreciate your explanation, but these guys aren’t gonna care.

Lady, we don't need any belief to justify sexism. It's genetically coded in us to discriminate against and pro women, depending on the scenario. Of course nobody will care. Sexes are different and unequal and forever will be.
Plus, it's basically a divine law to be sexist against witchcraft practitioners that openly rebel against muh natural order.

I wouldn’t claim the title for myself, but only because I think women who go out of their way to declare they are tomboys, are not. I am very flattered you think so.

As for my eyes… idk I’m astigmatic, but imo the real problem is the ‘tism. I have a hard time getting an expression that looks “right” for photos. I’d be a terrible film actress probably. I’m happier wearing contacts to glasses. Glasses get smudgy and fogged over too easily.

“Hello, sperm clinic?? Yes I’d like your lankiest Gypsy specimen, needs an advanced degree in sports medicine and sleep runs his way to winning charity 5ks. Do you have anything like that in stock? Ok, Did the donor keep ranting about pan-European fascism during his intake? No, thats no problem, that’s perfect. Yes. Book me for the 18th, thank you.”
It's definitely something some weirdos take too seriously. Labels shouldn't be your entire identity.

Hmm... I don't know how to explain it, but it looks like maybe you open your eyes more when you smile? Maybe you can practice a softer smile. Ultimately I guess it doesn't matter, but it's such a lame thing they bully you for.

Lastly, 10/10 :story: lmao

I was 37 at my last 13 week scan and the news was shocking... there were two of the little buggers in there.

I was childless at 32 and had five of them before I turned 38. The idea that no woman has fertility past 30 is not correct. Most women in their thirties are fertile enough to conceive without assistance, which in practice is all that matters. The forties are dicier if you have no previous births. But if you've had kids before, safest to assume that the baby factory remains open until menopause, and act accordingly.

The Wall concept is significantly more about the perceived physical attractiveness of women than any practically significant 'end to fertility'. It's completely fine for people to have attraction preferences. Those don't need to be given a sheen of 'science-based' rationalisation, though. You can just say you like younger, bouncier women. No one needs to justify their boners.

Here's my completely unarbitrary "you've not hit the wall" demands:
- she must be able to run 5K below 25 mins
- she must be able to get a clitoral erection while under the influence of hard sedatives such as opiates. Ketamine will also do it.
- she must be able to dance a whole night to high bpm trance music
- she must be able to have sex after that for hours too
I don't care if you can cook, I don't care if you can clean, I don't care about much of anything tbh.

I understand now how Ben Shapiro felt when he heard Pound Town for the first time.

The idea that no woman has fertility past 30 is not correct.

Nobody said that.

This is like saying you know a woman who is six feet tall, so "the idea that no women are taller than any man is not correct," something nobody claims.

Your chance of having a retard starts rising at 30:

Egg health starts declining at 30:

You, personally, having a bunch of kids in your thirties proves exactly nothing, because that's not how statistics work.

Conjecture? Lol, child, you're a big fucking idiot.

And I do not care who you date or breed with. Just make sure you look for a dumb one. It's your only hope.

Spectacularly ignorant.

That person was not saying what you're saying. And no one is saying that age is wholly irrelevant for fertility in general. Go teach statistics and basic-level data interpretation to Master Wumple.

Yes, I understand statistical concepts. Those graphs also show that the absolute risk of having a downie is very, very small, even in older mothers, and that women in their thirties have most of the fertility they had in their twenties and (presumably) teens. (I am assuming that last graph has something to do with unassisted conceptions; I think the legend has been accidentally cut off in the screenie?)

People don't care about the absolute risk of a downie, precisely because it is so small. It's a little bit more common if you're older, but that's a little bit added to what was already a very outside chance. People assess risks by what they can see, and downies are vanishingly rare. Most people have a 'normal' kid at birth, because overwhelmingly kids are born normal.

Most people who want to get pregnant do get pregnant. Most of them do so without medical assistance. I did not say the risks of foetal abnormality do not rise with age, or that it's not possible to have trouble conceiving in your forties, because those things are provably true. But those risks do not rise drastically enough on your 30th birthday for it to be this stark "thirty or DIE ALONE" issue as it's presented in the more hysterical commentariat. You, as a woman, with your own individual health and fertility levels, are not going to have a markedly harder time getting knocked up at 32 than you did at 28.

'The Wall', as presented as a fertility rather than a sexual preference issue, is much ado about comparatively nothing.
