Boogie is definitely approaching meltdown, I'm calling it now.
Boogie is
desperate for this recent video of his not to be labelled clickbait but instead a 'comedy sketch', when it is plainly clickbait designed to boost his views. It's so plain to everyone what and why he's doing it, all of a sudden this video does 40k+ views instead of sub-20, because they're clicking to see if he's actually leaving Youtube or not. He thinks doing some gay fake phone call with an imaginary accountant who tells him he's too broke to leave youtube and doesn't have millions of dollars saved, that somehow this isn't clickbait anymore.
It's especially funny because he also uses this phone call to complain about himself and show how he really feels about these other successful creators retiring at the same time, 'and I don't have a huge back catalogue of videos that are still being served in the algorithm, OH and I'm not just handing the channel off to somebody else so that they can continue to make
me money'. This is
comedy everyone, and definitely not just Boogie projecting his insecurities again. This guy is such a fucking loser, he just leaves the fact that these other success stories have all spent
years hard at work on their channels, committed to and accomplished incredibly regular schedules of video uploads, etc.. Yeah Steven, they did the work so now they get to enjoy the fruits of their
labor. You know, all the work you
don't do?
He's so smarmy about keeping his channel to himself, A) as if there's a whole line-up of people interested and B) as if he wouldn't hand his channel over to somone if he knew for a fact that it would lead to regular income in his pocket for years to come without having to actually do the work himself. Let's be honest, that's probably his fucking
dream nowadays and explains why he makes this snide little point.
Anyways, there were comments on the video and especially on Twitter about how this was obviously clickbait and let's just say it looks like it got to poor old Boogie a little bit. He throws up this poll, of which my absolute favourite part is how he literally calls it a comedy sketch in the question itself. "Hey supporters, is this comedy sketch a comedy sketch or clickbait?", nice one idiot. This clearly backfires as seen by the 60% of votes that went to the clear answer, this only gets to Steve even worse as seen by the following:
This totally didn't strike a nerve, it's not like he quote tweeted a random with four follow up tweets complete with attached gifs LOL. Look at all this cope and seethe and effortposting, this is how someone totally unfazed by criticism responds surely.
He's also replying to critics, pulling out the patented Boogie 'you're so dumb' move.
How about randomly targetting women drivers on Twitter? Is
that another comedy sketch from the self-avowed feminist and champion of women's issues? He's got a whole bit written about it? I can't wait to see him explain how this was misinterpreted.
Hey look, more of that Boogie move! Boogie drinks water all day long Preston, how did you not know that? Boogie loves water which is why he has drank mostly zero soda for years now, dummy. But he 'needs' flavour, and there's simply no other possible way to infuse flavour into water, it's literally impossible. So instead he's medically required to drink other sugared beverages mixed together, if he doesn't have 'flavour' he'll simply cease to exist.
