Same! That's his only trait and it's to be negative. If you're doing better than him, he has to talk MAD shit about you to feel better about himself. He honestly reminds me of the Player Haters Ball skit from Chappelle Show from back in the early 00's.I think one of the things that irks me the most is that Phil has no personality outside of one trait: negativity. Everyone is negative about something, or multiple things, but rarely are people just entirely negative. That's how Phil is regarding everything: every game, every person he interacts with, every situation hes in, and he needs to infect you with that negativity.
He has nothing that interests him genuinely, that he likes to share with people. I'm a history buff, and most conversations with me usually take a turn into that subject, because it excites me and interests me and I love sharing it with people. Phil has nothing that he can share, nothing that actully excites him or if he does none of the will to learn more about what it. The nearest we see of his interests os when he eats on camera and to me that's not an interest in food, or culture, it's just consuming. He's getting a dopamine hit and goes right back into negativity the second it wears off.
It's what makes him so exhausting, to me at least. There's nothing else there, just a negativity storm that's trying to make you feel as bad as he does.
