Holy shit, I just caught the end of the Elden Ring stream on Piece's stream.
Phil read out OMM's tip at the very end of the stream. He said the 'emails were delayed' so he didn't see the tip earlier, but that 'OMM tips every day'. Phil was at $200 early in the stream and so he didn't check if OMM tipped? The emails were just conveniently delayed on a day where the goal was hit?
But the thing is that Phil previously said that OMM comes by and checks if the goal has been hit and if it hasn't he'll tip.

So this confirms that OMM tips without checking the goal, and likely tips every day regardless. And Phil has been lying about it and omitting his tips when the goal has been hit on other occasions.
Basically, it looks again like we've been right the whole time and that Phil has been fucking with his audience and these tips for over a year now, with the truth only emerging as Phil loses track of what lies he has previously told.

I caught today's Elden Ring cope rant - every time DSP plays ER now, there's a cope rant. Him and his horse watched some "professional Souls game streamer who makes a living playing the game" and they said this and that, all things that perfectly align with and support Dave's own coping. They use ash summons because it's their first playthrough dood, they use whatever tools are given to them to kill the boss because ITS PART OF DA GAME

Now we all know Dave's full of shit, but I got curious so I started combing the first playthroughs of a bunch of different "pro-level Souls streamers". I watched Saint_riot, lobosjr, Distortion, Oroboro, Elajjaz, just to name a few - there's probably closer to 15 streamers whose playthroughs I was combing through. 3 Bosses per streamer I checked, nobody was using ash summons. Maybe I just happened to check the wrong boss fights and they used ash summons for others, I don't know. I find it very interesting that every professional streamer Dave and Khet watch is still on their first playthrough despite playing the game as a job, is somehow more underleveled than Dave which implies they've played even less than him, and is using OP weapons/magic + summons and saying "Why not it's my first playthrough I won't use them next playthrough"

Even if these made up streamers do exist, Phil, maybe your viewers treat you "unfairly" because you whine and bitch and blame the game every time you struggle with a boss.

I think it's more Phil's usual use of semantics to trick his 12 fans:
--Somebody once made an account with his name, so ALL the accounts with his name, even the ones verified through his own phone number, are fake too.
--Somebody once said he ragequit a game he never quit, so he's NEVER ragequit a game.
--Ten years ago he talked about sex and made all kinds of racist jokes and now he doesn't, so there's no possible reason for anyone to dislike him for anything now because he's been "chill" since then.
--Some channels have made money off Phil's idiocy while calling Phil a cult leader, so everyone who doesn't like Phil is a dumbfuck detractor idiot criminal cult leader.

To listen to Phil snort out all these points in a row like he did today, of course, is either hilarious or torture, depending on your tolerance for assholes.
 
Now i may be a shithead detractor but is it odd to anybody else that all of these "Pro Dark Souls Players" have the same mentality in regards to Elden Ring? Its even weirder that it happens to be the one mentality that Phil agrees with, That none of them are asked for a death counter, That all of them make a living from breaking down Fromsoft games, and that they all happen to be on a boss that Phil beat. Not any boss he can name or describe mind you. Just a boss.

I dunno. I may be wrong. Just damn peculiar.

He should unironically do this. Dump skyrim and reroll a mage or something for night streams in ER. Or make it so $25 tip chooses what wep he uses. The game has attention, tips and replayability. Hell all souls games do. And if he isnt buying new games (he isnt) and needs filler (he does, skyrim is awful) its a good candidate

He wont and those that watch for ER will go to other streamers who would reroll.

the game's graphics were bugging out by putting too much detail in the environment even on the PS5 "even on his tv" so that must mean it's taxing the processor this is the first time he's seen this in this playthrough on his ps5 but he's "seen it in coding on his PC" and the "graphics exceeded what the PlayStation can do"

so the graphics bugged by putting too much detail in the graphics even for his TV so the processor of the PS5 is being taxed he's never seen this before in this playthrough on his PS5 but has when he was coding on his PC...so he's done coding before? he's Neo and started to believe? or as he said it only happened in this playthrough on his PS5 but has seen it on his PC, so he coded the PC version of Horizon?

but that can't be because a whale said sarcastically if the game was on PC he could play it at 8k 255fps and phil responded that's great but it's also not great cause "thus" the shortcoming of the PC is the game isn't on it...but he saw the game surpass the graphical capability of the platform it's on when he "coded for PC"

the cow moo'ed under the red moon while a cat hissed at the spotted gopher named earl...there I just had a DSP epiphany!

Did Phil really claim he has done coding on his PC or was it something he said in jest?
 
Has very little free time for his wife anything cause taxes and the burden of his mature adult buisness life.

Spends 90 minutes watching someother asshat lose in the very same game he literally seethes at throughout the week.

I couldn't imagine working so hard all week with my exhausting and mentally tedious elden ring playthrough. One that takes me away from my wife 2 times a day 6 days a week. Miserably failing and not enjoying a single minute of my so far 60 minute grindy bitchy handheld nerfed playthrough I'm incredibly disingenuous about. Just to fucking sit there and watch some random jerkoff do the same exact shit. Fuck I can't imagine going home and just watching people to my job. Ecspically with my wife.

What a shit life.

That's just so crazy for me to wrap my head around. He probbaly bitches about the game and how it's going for him constantly. No sane women would put herself through that no fucking way.
 
I love this recent retconned aspect of himself where Phil's just entirely too virtuous to stoop to the level of detractors. Just like everything else, instead of putting in the work to actually be a better person, he just says he is and that's that.
