I wrote out the post but forgot to actually send it - but Phil has retconned why he didn't buy the GTA trilogy. He originally said he was going to play 3 -> VC -> SA in order of release, but he couldn't because he couldn't afford it and was hung up on begging for someone to donate him store credits to buy the trilogy. Earlier he said he was smart and held off on buying it incase it turned out bad because game developers always release shitty remakes and remasters, and he'd be able to test the waters with GTA SA first.
Not that he literally couldn't afford it and had to whale call for two weeks until a pig donated it to him, nope, he's two steps ahead of everyone. Always.
oh it goes deeper, the GTA mini-saga is quite fascinating. It really shows how exceptional THAT whale or any fan whale or not is to not see it...some of this flip-flopping was in the same thought he blurted out

- Doubles down on this tweet in a pre-stream going full-on Chris Cocker defending the game with these delusional claims like people were doctoring screenshots to make the game look bad. Tossed out all sorts of toxic slurs insulting people's intelligence, which DSP would never use slurs gais! but also said it was subjective if you like the look of the game.
- This complaint turns into yet another Veruca Salt meltdown rant about how everyone is stupid cause he has the real complaint and HE is the one who knows really whats wrong with the game and HE is going to tell you what is the real problem HIS complaint is legit the others are "sheep parroting something they read on twitter" (paraphrasing) It was really quite fascinating to watch him have a tantrum and how many times he referred to his opinion as being the only one.
- The thing that he complains about is what people have brought up since they released the list of features, the game may be too dumbed down. Then he goes almost as if going by a check-list of things people said were bad about the game on twitter other than the graphics.
The "remember it" part, well the reason they didn't show any more of the game, cause it looks like shit, you know the thing he's defending. He had to be so contrarian he had to go against his initial thoughts about the game...which were right.
The second one was he defended the state of the remaster saying what do you expect when the games are $20 each, also he somehow found a place that sells them ala carte cause he seems to not think you CAN buy them separately...I mean this could be but I didn't bother to check.
Bonus This is Cyberpunk just PC version got the shit end of the stick and he's going full-on "leave rockstar alone!" which makes me wonder has he regressed mentally to being a teenager that engrossed with the console wars because it's on gamepass means nothing can possibly be wrong with the game like Forza?

Yeah, the folks saw thru the shower real quick, since he claimed $1k, and no plumber is gonna charge 1k for a simple job. Maybe between 100-400, depending on the work, but if you need 1k+ from a plumber, some pipes burst, or there is water leaking inside the walls and floor somewhere.
The writers never expected the notes from the writer's room (aka Bank leaks) to get to the public, so they are scrambling to try to see what sticks.
