I wondered about this too. If it's just 10 people commenting a video and he uploads 5-6 videos a day, then he can go through them pretty fast.
But he's telling everyone to like and comment now. How long till he starts complaining that he doesn't have the time to sift through comments to approve them and turn them off again?
Unless you can get your mods to do it for you, but I doubt that's a thing.
I went back to one of his videos that's a week old - November 5th's Pre-stream. It's sitting at 1,860 views. How many comments are on the video? 30? Maybe more like 20, right? Or a little less perhaps? Like 15?

A whopping 4 comments, lol.
With 2/4 comments having major bot vibes.

You can be generous and say that roughly 10% of viewers will leave a comment. So over 100 people left a comment, but only that many made it though Pahsitivity Kahntrol? But that is still going to be skewed because, as you said, you know damn well that he isn't going back to week old videos to approve comments.

Why is he insisting on manually reviewing every comment like this? Why not just use the word filter to automatically catch at least the majority of any troll comments?

My favorite part of Dark's rollback cope is how it is becoming the standard in fighting games these days. His original pigsplain is that rollback actually sucks but influencers and pro players can't tell you that because they are paid off by the devs or some shit, so they pretend it's awesome to keep their money/views. Now it seems like people are working overtime to add rollback into all the old arcade fighters on modern emulators and the players are returning to some very obscure games now to check it out. It is literally the players choice of tech to the point that people are coding it into all the old games and having fun playing them. Dark wouldn't know much about having fun so I'm sure he is seething into his gin and gacha.

AM Gin tweets leads to trying to kiss Kojima's ass

Again with the "Sir" bullshit. Every time he tries to pretend like he hasn't said abhorrent shit about people he trots out the honorifics. That he's tried this with Kojima of all people

:story:
Why is he even trying this? No advertiser will ever work with him and he will never collab with anyone

The funny thing about this rant is that major gaming studios appear to share his low opinions of 'the modern gamer'.
But the hilarious part is, they used Phil's God of War videos for a seminar about how to direct the 'lowest common denominator' gamer where to go in their games.
He is the modern gamer he is shitting on according to people making the games.

Not to mention his of cheesing builds, save-scumming and autoassist aiming really underlines how only games with intense handholding (bugsnax lol) are ones he actually enjoys.

Twitter boosted his popularty one time in the past when he shat on Projared.
And you can't teach an old pigroach new tricks. If it worked for Phil once he's just gonna keep trying it until it works again.

I kindof hope it does work, he'll attract all the wrong sort of attention and then we'll get Debunked Version 2.0

Imagine how much less of an ass he would look like if he didn't constantly have to be "right".

Someone mentioned an example the other day about him opening up a bottle of water, spilling some as he did, and saying that 'they must have overfilled this at the plant'. For me, that's just the quintessential example of his need to be 'right' to the extent that it's almost a reflex for him to just immediately cover for any kind of mistake by pointing at someone else.

There have been literally hundreds of attempts made to engage him in a conversation about the reality of his issues. Well-spoken, well-intentioned explanations. He ALWAYS has a rebuttal to explain away whatever point is being raised. He never just pauses to reflect or consider what is being said, he just immediately rattles off some.defense. If it's a criticism, constructive or otherwise, he has some kind of argument for why your point is invalid. Some kind of reason for why an example of him doing something he once criticized or swore he never would is not hypocrisy because HIS circumstances are 'different'. Normal, healthy people do not pathologically shield themselves away from any kind of personal accountability for, or honest assessment of, their actions the way that he does.

Holy christ he's keeping the daily end of day beg videos moving forward and is naming them, "The Daily Wrap".

Fucking kill me.
This confirms he got something out of it. They've either yielded more engagement than his longer videos (doubly possible because detractors aren't mirroring them yet), have yielded more money (possible based on the ads), or he explicitly told by a whale to keep them.

On an unrelated note, watching him often catch himself mid-rock during his on-cam prestreams now... I wonder how much the not rocking is a strain for him. We know from the times when he was accidentally visible on camera that he used to just cut loose and go batshit crazy with the rocking during prestream. I have no idea how he could suddenly curb that, but it's apparently similar to the snorts as something can control when he bothers to focus or invest the effort, but very much enjoys indulging in when he believes he can get away with it.

Why not The Day in Review?
On that note, remember when the Week in Preview required him not to stream or do anything else on a Sunday night because he had to film that 20 minute video?
Now we get 10 minute videos with exactly the same content, apparently posted every night, even when the streams go OT.
It's almost like he lied for years just so that he didn't have to do anything on Sunday nights, but couldn't say that because he wanted people to think he was working hard all the time.

What are the chances that he does these face cam prestreams cause he is trying to rip off what Maximilian Dood does ?
You may think that i'm looking to think deep into it .... but there's something about the pretentious way he pigsplains things that makes me think he is going for the max vibes

Fun fact he is already talking about playing the new pokemon games but no mention of metroid dread anymore lol

Dave laments that he has not received a single tip yet during his prestream chat is rightly unsympathetic...

Edit: 'Average Phill' tells Dave he'll tip him $600 if he wins 30 matches in a row last night, doesn't follow through. He was actually a good sport about it, laughing and saying he had fun getting the 30 wins. 'Average Phill' Superchats $2 and tells Dave he just saw he won 30, money is sent. Dave says, no money, you're a liar. STILL doesn't ban. 'AP' Superchats $2:

Lightning fast ban. I'm fundamentally opposed to giving DSP any amount of money to 'troll' him. I'll accept this though, I'm dying.

This "too cool for the room" phil is so obnoxious, shits on everything in a spergtacular overdramatic way after saying how he's interested in it with this punchable smug smirk.
