Wow.
What a ride this has been. I don't normally comment on legal proceedings, not because I don't have a general understanding of them, mostly because I will have long-since been ninja'd on anything that I'd want to say.
However, I can't help but applaud the prosecution being turned on it's ear by a literal autist who handled himself extremely well without going full sperg-mode. When Drew Carey was asking "Why did you leave out these key details from your statement?" and the poor kid just said "I'm not a detective. I don't know what details are important to you, just what I thought was important..." I wanted to give that kid a high-five. He is the MVP of the day.
And before that we had Grambo just going hard-in the paint on language? Fuck, that was satisfying. Up until then, we'd heard just a few snippets from the videos and stuff, and when she even looked at Cookie Judge and was like "Is it ok if I say this, sorry judge!" before she just went off. And her response when the fraudsecution asked her "You would agree that your pistol is less dangerous than a big scary AR-15, right?" "A gun is a gun, they both do the same thing.
Just so good. That was an entertaining listen today. If Kyle "Pedo-Looter-Shooter" gets anything more than the misdemeanor gun charge (which he shouldn't, but you know how it is...), it'll be a cryin' shame.
