Gas was very low a year and a half ago because not only the pandemic, but there was also a price war going on between Saudi Arabia and other oil producers, where they tried to lower cost. Because of this, a lot of refineries were brought offline. However, now the demand is back up and there's supply chain issues with it.
Inflation is slightly up because of the deficit, which Biden hasn't helped but has mostly been because of Trump's tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. Prices on goods are up due to the pandemic causing issues with the global supply chain, which again, isn't Biden's fault.
This stuff is happening all over the world, not just America
