Being a single, unemployed SAHM has prevented her from doing the DIY, fashion and DLG creepy shit for her channel so all she’s got left is pity grubbing in her bathroom for extra bucks and attention.
I don’t believe at all she’s some exhausted single mom who can only do short videos in her bathroom while baby sleeps. Yumi’s mom is there, or very nearby, and is sick of her influencer BS and won’t keep supporting her if she is devoting her time to online clicks. I think grandma is trying to ensure Yumi takes care of the baby as her full time job and when he’s a little older then wants Yumi to get a real job. (I’d also guarantee grandma does plenty of heavy lifting with her grandson, but is also there as a hall monitor for what Yumi is doing. She wants to prevent another marriage to a creep and anymore babies out of wedlock.

Man this lady bends as hard as possible to make Yumi a victim and give her every benefit of the doubt. She goes beyond buying her schtick hook, line and sinker and actually invents excuses and rationalizes her behavior.
Yumi is both the naive, innocent who’s mother poisoned her with traditional Chinese stereotypes about women who was not raised to be independent but also a 26 year old woman who has a college degree, wears a fetish collar, speaks fluent English who should not take any BS from her man.
She couldn’t even entertain the idea a near 30 year old woman doing Lolita play and who got a fetish husband on OKCupid might cuck him. I’d love to see the final divorce decree. It’s possible it’s Splenda’s kid but she didn’t press the paternity issue so she could be rid of him and have sole custody without a fight, but it also doesn’t make sense with all her crying poor. (Then again Trisha gave her $10k so why not?)
She also couldn’t fathom Yumi’s mom told her to GTFO (twice) for any another other reason than mean, old, traditional Chinese mom demanding she return to husband. It couldn’t possibly be Yumi’s behavior or actions.
I will give Yumi credit for getting offline. I’m going to bet grandma does a lot of childcare while Yumi tries to land husband #2.

I was shocked to see a video on Yumi King in my recommended, because I haven't heard from her in ages. And I was instantly disappointed to see Kidology behind it. She seemingly always makes videos on cows she barely understands and tries to make up some sort of bullshit fakedeep theme to accompany it.
The video about that "Tik Tok serial dater" (came off as rampant jealousy on kidology for one who constantly admits to struggles dating men) and was responded to by the subject, who debunked many of the claims, yet still remains up. Same with her video defending that tranny boxer. Kidology is either a malicious retard or just a retard retard.
Kidology also: allegedly wanted to kill herself until she managed to get laid (rumor from treeoflogic another negress), claimed she was a lesbian and then friendzoned some weirdo, and then realized she wasn't a lesbian and the aforementioned weirdo sperged the fuck out (not a rumor, kidology made these videos herself because she is an oversharing weirdo), has made claims and got into debates with people because she says she is a femcel which apparently offends incels.
Because of this I view many of her videos through the frame of "she is a self hating black woman that is jealous of other women online, next!"

I’ve seen Kidology self-post on Lolcow numerous times and I’ve always rolled my eyes at the blatant promotion. I feel like her Yumi video isn’t well researched because she gets into Splenda’s past and said he was previously married to an Asian woman and had one child with her. I swear to god I recall reading his ex’s comments on PULL and she was Mexican with a few kids. I’ve followed Yumi’s journey for about 10 years now and there’s so much she left out.
Anyway, she infantilizes the audience by over explaining what commonly known terms are.

The same Kidology video popped up on my recommended page and I watched it since I haven't kept up with a single thing about Yumi King since PULL went down. I skipped several parts, but my impression is this outcome is a lot more positive than I would have ever predicted for her in the past. Divorced from her lolicon husband, starts dressing like a woman rather than a child, doesn't post her son's face online, video about how she made a mistake in putting her personal life online, becoming more independent, cuts back on the videos she posts. Interesting. The one thing that doesn't add up to me is if the child is Splenda's and she didn't cheat, why wouldn't she do a DNA test to prove it so she could get child support? Not doing so is either dumb or admitance of something. Maybe another video will remind me she exists in 5 years and I can check back in and see if we've got answers yet.

It’s confusing, but a legit reason could be she doesn’t contest paternity so that he’s 100% out of her and her son’s life. If she contests it and seeks child support he can demand custodial rights and visits just to fuck with her. More custodial time he gets the less he has to pay, so some fathers seek 50/50 or full custody, whether they actually care about the kid or not.
Their relationship was so twisted it’s hard to say wtf. I definitely think he had no interest in her having a baby or playing daddy to a son. He only wanted to be a daddy to his child bride doll.

I feel like it was the best option for Yumi as it can be super expensive and exhausting to fight in family court for 18 years. Especially since she’s in Washington and he’s in Georgia. Don’t blame her one bit.

Yumi is back and now she’s a nurse who lives independently with her son. Maybe it’s just me but idk if it’s really worth pursuing YouTube again. Her life is finally comfortable why risk ruining a good thing by making yourself public online?

With a couple updates it all became clear. She’s been putting wishlists and donation links in her video description box. Was depending on men for a while and now works 2 days a week while leeching off her parents and plans to become rich independently. She plans to reveal what happened in her marriage in next week’s video which is probably part of her rich plan lmao.
