I went to the grocery store, everyone is a fucking zombie. Standing in the middle of the aisle when boxes are stacked so you can't go around them, and someone clobbered a wine display with their little motorized cart. Then I go to leave, 3/4 of the way down a one way aisle in the parking lot someone starts to turn into it, the wrong way, instead of immediately backing out they just sit there, on top of the big yellow arrow telling them they're going the wrong way for at least 30 seconds. In hindsight I should have just kept going forward as I did have the law of gross tonnage on my side.

My mom was a huge McCartney fan. She had all the albums, loved Wings ect... So she loved that song and I grew up thinking everyone else did too. Then I get the internet and learned the ugly truth. People fucking loathe this song. Slowly I started to dislike it too. I think it does something to your brain. It hits some hateful center and festers there for the rest of your life. Kind of like a festive version of the Macarena. I still will listen for nostalgia. But now I see why people hate it so much. It got a lot of airplay in the 80s because it was McCartney and even if you didn't like it it was the kind of song that got stuck in your head. It's very catchy even if it's the wrong kind of catchy.

I also learned throughout the years that a lot of people hate Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by Bruce Springsteen. Why I'm not sure. It's a live song from 1975 that's always been a Christmas staple on the radio in Philly. Maybe that's because Springsteen is from Jersey and we're supposed to love him. I don't know. But I was surprised once again as soon as I got the internet to find out people hated it. Thanks internet. I'm all confused about my feelings now.

I think advertisers have caught on a bit and I think it'll be played less for a few years until enough people agree that they "ironically" miss it as part of the zeitgeist, in which case its airplay will ramp up to the point of being super nauseating again.

The sound quality of a lot of TV shows, I don't watch that many myself but I can't understand how people get used to cooking shows or even worse the house hunting shows, there's either no background noise and someone talking shrilly or an overpowering amount of random noises. I have this close friend of mine that started relatively normal when we were little but he slowly began to grow more and more deviant over the years. He is a nice dude but it seems he cant be less liberal even if his life depends on it. It all started with him doing innocent cartoon character couples and now all he does is porn porn porn. Im able to mostly ignore that since he mostly keeps it to himself in our talks (and I know better than to bring up politics) but dude had a freaking panic attack when the Trumpster got elected again and I had to spent the whole following night calming him down and dude's one year older than me. I dont know, I like him but I wish he was smarter and stronger. And of course he moved to Bluesky because nothing says modern liberal than leaving to Bluesky in an attempt to own the Musk and Trumpster when that is clearly backfiring, lol.

Also he is a bisexual V-Tuber (because of course) and last time I checked his stream, his cat anthro icon is wearing a japanese school girl outfit and I asked "Okay, I'll regret asking but why are you wearing this" and he said "why not?". God, the second hand cringe...

Its sad when you want to really like a close friend but he keeps doing dumbass liberal type shit and you keep hoping he will grow up at some point but its becoming increasingly unlikely. He also complains how he and his mother have no money but he constantly talks about him spending money on stupid shit in the form of "treating myself" when thats not how money saving works, you duffus.

Also I have an actual job (and money lol) and he has no driver's license and only a job teaching little guetto kids in extracurricular activities (shockingly, they dont respect him). Dude looked so promising but now...

90% of artists seem to be raging liberals and the more conservative ones tend to really be more akin to left leaning centrists and I really wonder why nearly every artist leans left one way or the other, falling into the same stereotypes. I would feel kind of embarassed to draw LGBTQ, especially trans characters, if I had any drawing ability, my mind would just feel like its a waste of talent.

But yeah, why most of them are just incapable of being fucking normal?
