Have you heard and seen how bad it gets over in Europe when it comes to shit like soccer? Why in America, when a team wins or loses, people start acting like animals?
No, I have not. Okay, why do sports fans like to cause chaos for their team?Have you heard and seen how bad it gets over in Europe when it comes to shit like soccer?
It’s the social media era in action. Everyone is used to instant gratification via algorithms that are catered entirely to them. So anything that doesn’t fit within their social media algorithm now pisses them off. Everything is now treated as a personal affront.People are so rude IRL nowadays. I try to be polite, I try to be empathetic and I try to understand others, even strangers, but it is becoming increasingly difficult over time slowly but surely.
My biggest gear grinder continues to be the freefall in customer service quality. Everything is done incorrectly, the staff are rude, and these niggers want you to give them a 25% tip afterwards if you don’t want them to spit in your food next time.I've been slopping more than usual lately because of being busy at work.
I went to a Wendy's, an A&W, and a Starbucks last week and none of them got my order right the first time. The broccoli haired zoomer retard at Starbucks actually got my order wrong twice.
They think it gives them permission to do so.Why in America, when a team wins or loses, people start acting like animals?
They're usually drunk by the end of the game, are probably a younger bunch of fans (not always), and, depending on the context, the result can trigger an emotional reaction.why do sports fans like to cause chaos for their team?
Oh boy, you're not going to like me then, because I feel the opposite way. I don't think she was innocent and I think there's some truth to it.I see a lot of Joan Crawford fan pages with hate comments regarding Joan Crawford's looks or about Mommie Dearest. Honestly, I've never seen so much vitriol for an actress like Joan has. What has she done to anybody in her life to deserve that?
We've really gotten into it with our neighbors. We helped them drop their cable and set up Roku. I had already done this with my parents but didn't realize how sharp and tech-savvy my parents were in comparison to their peers.Doing any help for older people, especially relatives. It's never met with thankfulness, but slavery. If you ever make the mistake of helping with anything technical, you are now enslaved to always fix anything that has happened to it. Did you once touch their TV? Two years later you have to fix whatever internet issue the TV has because "it only did that after you touched it". And god forbid if you don't remember their password.
Nah man. I was old enough to grow up in the entire 90s and I liked it. Gonna have to disagree on that one. It got shitty by 2001 after 9/11.You know what grinds my gears? People who barely lived in the 90s and hold it up like some holy grail. The 90s fucking blew.
You know what most of your entertainment came from? TV. TV sucked ass. Do you like commercials? I sure as fuck don't.
What about video games? Very cool. Remember how the controllers sucked so badly Sony had to make a special new controller because theirs gave people hand-cramps? Do you remember how Nintendo never bothered? Remember playing Goldeneye and feeling like you were fucking gimped? No? You're retarded. If yes, you were gimped. By Nintendo being retarded.
The food? Even sloppier than today.
Movies? Idk, let me consult my Taco Bell souvenir cups to see what was playing.
Oh and the Internet. My God, the fucking Internet.
It sucked ass. If you had it, it seemed like a miracle. It was for certain things. Most of the time? It was still difficult to navigate and everyone talked like proto Redditors.
So fuck the 90s.
Nah man. I was old enough to grow up in the entire 90s and I liked it. Gonna have to disagree on that one. It got shitty by 2001 after 9/11.
I got to chill out and wear cool baggy jeans that were perfectly designed to be comfortable and are no longer made because skinny jeans are cool now. I had a blast, man.The 90s was the same as the early 2000s with shittier Internet and shittier vidya
I think alot of people grift the 90s for all the good that was created/popularized in that era. Yeah it sucked but it is what got us to where we are now, why you can compare the two decades and know we are better off. That means we moved in the right direction with technology, although maybe now we are moving too fast. Moving too fast is also a reason people say it's better, because stuff was slow and you had time to process things more. Now information is thrown at you like snowballs and you can't tell what's true anymore. The 90's shitheads most of the time have trouble now with AI, scams, and rugpulls. They are probably worried that it will just get worse, because it most likely is going to for them at least.People who barely lived in the 90s and hold it up like some holy grail
There's two different soccer themed LEGO sets at Costco. Not even fun sets where a kid could play-pretend at soccer. They were "art" sets that were for a particular player. This World Cup bullshit. Been tired of it, never cared of it. It's just a bunch of foreign squatters getting hyped up over one of the most monotonous sports ever made. A sport by the way, which can have games end at 0-0.
I don't give a shit of your country making it, I don't give a shit of your country losing, I don't give a shit of it at all.
