There's a couple like that. The one I remember clearly was mocking fags like Munroe who don't comprehend the difference between the philosophical principle of free speech itself, and the First Amendment, which is specifically to prevent the government from violating that principle.

xkcd's issue is that he doesn't understand why people liked him in the first place and his ego ate any and all sanity he had left.
Little relatable IT related comics like these, that are still quotable to this day is why he became popular and they'll be his only legacy worth a damn.
Even Reddit took one of his most popular comic strips and elevated it's nerd humor even further to relative success.
The message is that freedom from speech DOES mean freedom from consequences chud, but only if you're brown and hate kikes (Not if you're white and hate kikes though, that's heckin fascism)

This works because Stonetoss doesn’t explain the joke. A lot of xkcd comics are funnier if you ignore the last panel, because the last panel is usually the author overexplaining something.

Stonetoss expects his readers to be intelligent and humble. Xkcd's readers are best case wannabe geeks who seek out edumacational content, but more likely pretentious titfucks who get offended when they don't know somethingand have to work for it.
On every page of xkcd there is featured a list of recommended xkcd comics. This one (archive), "A Timeline of Earth's Average Temperature", is the most noticable. Here is an edit, showing the part that's actually relevant.
Notice that the "current path" temperature projection shows an increase of about 4.5° Celsius by 2100.
That isn't actually the current projection for global warming. That was the worst case global warming scenario from about a decade ago, RCP8.5. If current energy use trends continue, the world is headed for the "optimistic scenario" of an increase of about 2.5° Celsius by 2100.

The last frame is completely unnecessary. "Little Bobby Tables" is funny but should've been the title or in the hovertext.
