the 'toss does an XKCD joke much better than XKCD

someone did a rebuttal/edit of the "free speech" xkcd comic in the OP with anonymous as a stand in that i've been looking for but can't find it anywhere. might've just been a one-off that was never posted outside of 8chan or something.
There's a couple like that. The one I remember clearly was mocking fags like Munroe who don't comprehend the difference between the philosophical principle of free speech itself, and the First Amendment, which is specifically to prevent the government from violating that principle.

xkcd's issue is that he doesn't understand why people liked him in the first place and his ego ate any and all sanity he had left.

Little relatable IT related comics like these, that are still quotable to this day is why he became popular and they'll be his only legacy worth a damn.

Even Reddit took one of his most popular comic strips and elevated it's nerd humor even further to relative success.

Every few years I suddenly remember Miegakure and look it up, quickly followed by thinking "It's still not done yet?"

Also, I apologize for the time I climbed down into your world and everyone freaked out about the lesbian orgy overseen by a priest.
(Randall made this in 2010)

That would be funny, but no. The alt text explicitly names Rumesya Ozturk, the latest media story about how ICE is bad or whatever. Where's the humor?
I've never seen him politically vague-post like this, he usually really struggles with subtlety except when referencing pop culture.
The message is that freedom from speech DOES mean freedom from consequences chud, but only if you're brown and hate kikes (Not if you're white and hate kikes though, that's heckin fascism)

This nigga is like a millennial Scott Adams

Instead of sorta shitty late 80s-90's corporate shibboleths its sorta shitty late 90's-early 2000's geek and IT humor

Wonder when he'll evolve from milquetoast liberal to raging white-hating communist, which is the millennial equivalent to late boomer/gen-x going from small 'l' libertarianism to dropping N-bombs live on camera every day

This works because Stonetoss doesn’t explain the joke. A lot of xkcd comics are funnier if you ignore the last panel, because the last panel is usually the author overexplaining something.
Stonetoss expects his readers to be intelligent and humble. Xkcd's readers are best case wannabe geeks who seek out edumacational content, but more likely pretentious titfucks who get offended when they don't know somethingand have to work for it.

On every page of xkcd there is featured a list of recommended xkcd comics. This one (archive), "A Timeline of Earth's Average Temperature", is the most noticable. Here is an edit, showing the part that's actually relevant.
xkcdEdit.png
Notice that the "current path" temperature projection shows an increase of about 4.5° Celsius by 2100.
That isn't actually the current projection for global warming. That was the worst case global warming scenario from about a decade ago, RCP8.5. If current energy use trends continue, the world is headed for the "optimistic scenario" of an increase of about 2.5° Celsius by 2100. DrStrangelove.jpg
And here is the link (archive).
It's pretty irresponsible for Randall Munroe to not show the current science.

Stonetoss did this better, too:

Anyway, even the "classic" xkcds are too long. Here's Bobby Tables, it's titled "Exploits of a mom":
exploits_of_a_mom.png
The last frame is completely unnecessary. "Little Bobby Tables" is funny but should've been the title or in the hovertext.

1. "Hello?" "Hi, this is your son's school."
2. "Oh, dear, did he break something?" "Yes. We lost this year's student records."
3. -beat-
4. "Did you really name your son Robert'); DROP TABLE Students;-- ?"
