I do E-Day turns out ok. Everything after the main trilogy was so ass. Judgment was especially a sore point for me as Baird was my fave character and his game was ten flavors of shit.
I guess it would just be nice to have something that could recapture the fun of both a great campaign and addictive MP like the originals had back on 360. Damn...those were some great times.
Asha is just a goon doing Satya's will. I fully expect that this new ratfucking via exclusives approach is his idea. It's the classic Microsoft strategy (embrace, extend, extinguish) after all, and the dude's been there since 1992.
I think people believe Phil was just being puppeted and that's why he fucked up, rather than Phil himself signing off on most of the bad decisions and convincing the c-suite that it was the correct choice.
That's not to say that I also don't think the new direction is highly risky, but I think this is what legitimately what Microsoft at the top-level wants to be doing rather than Asha or Booty or whoever going rogue.
Maybe they respawn with different names and chargen features (including skin color), so if you kill them enough times eventually they spawn back in with the correct skin color so they can be left in peace.
Also I'll forgive the Gen-Z dialogue because as I recall the previous Fable games had NPCs spewing a lot of modern lingo despite being set in a medieval/Victorian era.
