Perhaps the most based position that Null has ever expressed is that the show Xavier: Renegade Angel is the best thing ever put on television. He is correct. For those who don't know, it is a mixture of surreal humor, wordplay, black comedy, and satire. It's from the same people who made Wonder Showzen, which was also pretty good. If you have never watched X:RA, please do so at your earliest convenience.

i'd never fight it's something special, but i think it's too often nonsense for the sake of it. there's a very interesting level of actual subtext and work in it, but in something like, say a kubrick movie, you can watch the movie but then also look at explanations after it and have a whole new appreciation for the work. xavier is the kind of shit you'd need a creator directly beside you explaining it or commentating otherwise it gets annoying after a while because it just all seems like nonsense.

but it is lightning in a bottle that would likely only exist with continued creative autism, AS funding, and receive recognition due to an autistic fanbase that helps explain meaning or point of dialogues

I still regularly return to this show. I get maybe not liking the humor as its fucking weird, but you cannot deny its cleverness and the incredibly tightly written humor. I think my favorite line is "DREAD SCOTT! ITS AN UPRISING!" in the wigger episode, huge historical deep cut.
