1. No shitskins and no anti-white ideological influencers due to isolation
2. Possible return of Germans to the lands from which they were kicked out. This could have happened under Khrushchev who allow many small deported ethnic groups to return. Allowing Germans to return would make sense because:
-Few time passed since expulsions, and settler haven't become rooted in there yet
-Large Germany within Warsaw pact would give them more bargaining power
-Soviet Union is poor and can't appease Germans (to prevent them from going apehsit again) by merely giving them money like United States did.
-Most expelled Germans living outside of DDR was a major reason why they could not have been brought back
3. Lower prices on natural resources (no explaination needed).
4. More rights for Alsatians because France would need to prevent them from siding with communist Germany.
