I remember Windows ME had them.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=CZUiMZWiw3MI will always remember it as the first and only OS I crashed.
When I was a kid I tried to launch Age of Empires and it couldn't so I fooled around with the Graphic settings in the Control Panel and then it crashed
Windows 98 had these themes as well. These themes featured some very cool screensavers.

I have never seen Windows 95, but 98 was ridiculously unstable. Only the failtastic Windows ME would beat it in that regard.
I could destroy 98 in 2-3 months or less with my computer games when I was a kid.

I remember one such case particularly well - I installed a shell replacement program called Talisman Desktop from a CD supplement of a Russian PC magazine Hard n Soft. Eventually, I was bored with it, but it integrated itself into the system so hard, I couldn't get rid of it. My solution? Uninstall Talisman Desktop... while it was running. As a result, the OS simply failed to boot afterwards, and my dad had to reinstall it. He was quite pissed off.

I actually liked Microsoft Bob, though I was a kid at the time I did it.

Considering Windows 98, that brings this bit from South Park to mind.
Considering your Windows 98 experience, that would make the clip a bit funnier, especially if it's the experience many others have had with 98.

As far as experiences with the old OS goes, I remember an old Windows computer my family had. One of the more memorable things with it was seeing the Blue Screen of Death a few times.
