Windows 98 had these themes as well. These themes featured some very cool screensavers.

I have never seen Windows 95, but 98 was ridiculously unstable. Only the failtastic Windows ME would beat it in that regard.
I could destroy 98 in 2-3 months or less with my computer games when I was a kid.
I remember one such case particularly well - I installed a shell replacement program called Talisman Desktop from a CD supplement of a Russian PC magazine Hard n Soft. Eventually, I was bored with it, but it integrated itself into the system so hard, I couldn't get rid of it. My solution? Uninstall Talisman Desktop... while it was running. As a result, the OS simply failed to boot afterwards, and my dad had to reinstall it. He was quite pissed off.
