I was wondering about that. I can't imagine the Trump administration is going to be cool with foreign journalists going on felonious ride alongs. Literally interfering with one of the two bureaus that enforce who gets to stay in the country sounds like a good way to get deported back to Snow Mexico. I remember when Trudeau threatened to ban entry for every American who contributed to the Truckers' Give Send Go campaign.

I'm not a lawyer but that's probably interfering with a federal investigation. I understand that they don't prosecute everything they could, however being personally known and disliked by policymakers is probably a good way for a Canadian journo to get an involuntary ride to the border.
Probably nobody will ever read that article, but maybe it ends up on Pam Bondi's feed. Maybe Tom Homan's. You never know. Will turned himself into a celebrity of sorts, after all, Stranger things have happened.

Come on man. Driving behind a car isn't interfering with a federal investigation. ICE rounding up people isn't a "federal investigation". No one cares who this journalist is. It's really expensive have federal agents drive a journalist out to Canada border.

I'm not a lawyer, this what the government says. You may not like it but they are the ones who interpret the law. You can take them to court, but I don't see how getting angry at me stating policy is going to help.
