This honestly made me 🤔 as I was looking for football thread but didn't find it. There's a thread for every new shitty blockbuster movie and every obscure indie/japanese game series, but the most popular sport in the world probably only has a thread buried somewhere that 3 people ever posted in. No judging, just gathering data for my PhD dissertation in Anthropology - how come you are not interested in being healthy and strong, but prefer to be weak instead? Is it because the jews or niggers are forcing you to forfeit self improvement?

Because growing up watching middle aged men getting upset and screaming at the TV because someone threw a ball wrong seemed like an offputting introduction to the entire concept. Furthermore, never really having the rules explained to me, nor why we care about one team over the other made it hard to compete against things tailor-made for children, like Nickelodeon and Nintendo. There never seemed to be much of a reason to watch: here are a bunch of angry looking nobodies that'll probably be gone next year chasing a ball around, and I have absolutely no input on the coach's tactics. Why should I care? Why should I get upset that a bunch of random strangers playing under my city's name can't play as well as a bunch of random strangers from some other city? Don't ask questions, just consume game and get excited for next game.

Because watching a game is way less fun to me than playing. I'm also not into screaming at the tv when my team wins or loses.

Sports were better when there was an understanding that people were going to get hurt and there were no pussies wringing their hands over it. Hockey is a shadow of its former self now.

Watching sports is just another mutation of fandom in general, and as has been long established, fandom is for faggot normies.

Thank you this is a very good and meritoric answer

I mentioned football since looking for the football thread made me wonder why you niggas don't like sport. I have good childhood memories with football mainly from watching World Cup 1998 with my grandpa, to the point I can still name main players from all the teams to this day. But I wasn't really interested in watching sports until I started doing them myself. And the sports I watch are not even sports I used to do. There's definitely a connection between doing sports and watching them though, since niggas who like to watch sports often do some sports at least recreationally, and niggas who have zero interest in watching sports almost always don't do any sport themselves.

The only sport I would ever want to watch or participate in would be 2 Gun or Pankration tbh. All the sportsball games are kind of dumb and I don't care about living vicariously through "my" team or athlete.

I have little interest in watching or discussing sports.

I prefer participating in sports or watching people I know engage in sports.

Sports broadcasts bore me.

I don't like sports because I grew up with a muscle condition and a bad leg in the most autistic parts of Patriots Country. But that's just me.
