I feel like arguing with you is pointless, but most churches (at least ones in the Eastern tradition) are very community-centered, and (if you're a young man) there will be plenty of other younger and older guys willing to hire you on to do trade work/handing out your resume to their employers/contacting their friend circle to see if they have a spare room for you.
