Vegemite... my first experience with it was trying it not knowing what it was while in vacation in Australia as a teenager. I took a big blob of it on a cracker and as soon as I tasted it I locked myself out of my hotel room trying to get something to wash the taste out.

Please explain how this is an allergy?

In short, the body thinks proteins in raw fruit and veg are pollen and that it should overreact to that.

"Oral allergy syndrome (OAS) is an allergy to one or more usually fresh fruits or vegetables. It is a common food-related allergy in adults and is increasingly diagnosed in older children. Symptoms are often confined to the mouth and develop within a few minutes of eating the food. The allergy is to proteins in the fruit that are similar to those found in tree (especially birch tree), grass or weed pollens causing hay fever."

Right but like... Were you professionally diagnosed with this or is this some bullshit you just assume you have? Seems like the sort of shit some tranny would claim just to make them sound even more like a fragile unique snowflake.

Well, for what its worth, I was diagnosed and have the epi pens to prove it. It's part of the nut allergy and hayfever package. It's really not all that unusual. I've known a few people with it. Just means I'm annoying at dinner parties but I do try not to be a snowflake about it. TBH there must be more glamorous conditions that don't leave you drooling and wheezing from cutting up celery. Might be a good claim for the deathfats though - "Eat a salad? Are you literally telling me to kill myself, shitlord?!"

Your description is mostly true, but Americans can get the British-style easily and it's actually in a pretty common dish at diners, "Corned Beef Hash."

Despite the low quality meat in canned corned beef it tastes really good to me, even if it is Beef SPAM. Probably because it's one of the first foods I have memory of eating.

Always keep a few cans stocked. Think I might break one out and make some hash.
Corned beef freshly cut is amazing

I never even tried it because Bitrex is one of these things you don't need to try to say it's bad. Because it said itself it is the most bitter substance.

Ethiopian food, in general. Their sour pancake tastes weird and the rest of the food is just worse bbq.

Though I've never tried it, Philipinos boil fertilized eggs and I think I'd rather eat anything else than that.

Beets are the only thing I refuse to eat. Earthy tastes don't bother me, it's taste of burning soap that I draw issue with. Doesn't matter if it's a small portion of a dish or diluted in juice, beets are disgusting.

Oh Balut. The concept is weird but I've had it. It's kinda like like eating a hard boiled egg with chicken broth

I really hate Impossible burgers. I tried to like them, but I just can’t. Give me a black bean burger or a turkey burger instead. I generally just don’t like beef and not even faux beef. Absolutely nothing to do with the environment, and everything to do with me just not liking the taste of beef.

As I've gotten older there are a lot of foods I didn't use to like that I like now (I used to hate the texture of most fruits, especially strawberries) so I don't think there's anything that would be considered a normal food that I dislike (obviously I'm not going to eat bugs or some hyper-processed vegan slop), but if you count liver as a normal food I just couldn't eat it. It didn't taste bad but my body refused to let me eat more than a single bite. I like and can eat liverwurst though. Also, I will say turkey is usually dry and unappetizing, but if you do it right it's good.

I'm an admittedly picky eater. I can't do any type of fish or seafood. I can't even stomach tuna salad. I think I was scarred for life when I was a kid and I would watch my dad and grandpa gut and filet fish during our vacations. Like, the sight of a cut up fish with all of the blood and bones and shit. It horrified me. I get that it's irrational. I'd probably be a vegetarian if I was exposed to a slaughterhouse at a young age.

I also can't stand mushrooms or olives. They are both fucking disgusting.
