A rebuttal to the argument that the status quo will return to normal and Chris will move back in with Barb at 14 BC: because of how absolutely batshit Chris went with motherfucking, Barb’s relatives turned face and started becoming more active in her life again. Barb’s sister Harriet outright refused to let Chris stay at her house right after he was kicked out when she found out what he did, and when Barb crashed Son-Chu, Harriet and long lost brother Wayne stepped in to help her recuperate. If Chris isn’t given a permanent criminal trespass from 14 BC and Barb isn’t deemed incapable of taking care of herself by any social worker or state agency, Harriet and Wayne will likely have an issue with Chris coming back and could try to petition for power of attorney to prevent him from doing so. If the traditional legal system fails (which has a track record of doing with Chris), I’m willing to bet the shreds of dignity that Harriet and Wayne have recollected for their dementia ridden sister will prevent Chris from coming home.

While I can't bring myself to blame them for distancing themselves from Barb, Chris, and that whole circus, imagine you were one of these people and while you had basically disconnected from the crazy branch with Chris and Barb in it, you suddenly find out that while you avoided this, that weird retard you saw maybe once or twice was repeatedly raping that. . .well not exactly well regarded family member.

Especially when it's pretty likely she's croaking soon anyway, so it's not like you're taking on a long-term obligation.
