Chances are, Chris is more than likely not going to have a kid with someone. So, what if he decided to keep his legacy alive in some other way and donate his sperm? Would he even be able to?

That actually brings up a question that's been in my head for a while.

Say someone with autism ends up having a kid, how likely is the kid in question going to have autism as well?
 
If he goes alone: Tries to shoot a deer, misses, the bullet hits a bird, he doesn't find it.

That and women/couples want to know as much as possible about the donor before having a child with their sperm. Chris is a fat, balding, autistic with a history of high blood pressure/colesterol and a criminal record. Never going to happen.
 
This takes a lot of legwork (I just opened up an Ancestry.com account), but what if he put moderate effort into it?

What if he found out Bob was lying and he had no Cherokee blood?

If you go onto any sperm donation clinic's website they require things like medical history from previous generations of your family. It's to check for hereditary things like schizophrenia and down syndrome.

This seems like a really strange what if question.

Also Chris becoming a Genealogist and Bob lying about the Cherokee blood are two different questions. Chris wouldn't do it because he's lazy and Bob lying about Cherokee blood is very likely. More than likely is Bob mentioned something about the Cherokee when he was young and Chris just assumed they had Cherokee blood.

As much as I like this article it's a little skewed in a lot of ways.

For one you can't be held legally for child support if you hand your sperm to a physician who performs in-vitro fertilization. I know this because I remember reading a story about a woman who attempted child support on a man because he handed it directly to the couple rather than through a physician because it was cheaper. You can also choose to be completely anonymous legally (which means despite them being able to do DNA testing on you to determine if you are the father, in the eyes of the law you're a complete stranger), be on file or be involved in the child's life. The latter being a popular choice for gay males who want to be involved in the child's life if it goes to a Lesbian couple.

Adding to that this sort of thing varies in terms of country. Like Sweden is extremely popular for sperm donations, as are other countries like Canada.

As well while it is a buyers market and Lesbians demand tall white blonde kids from what I remember reading not all buyers want those sorts of children. If the male is sterile they'll pick a doner that resembles the father in some regard so it doesn't look, you know weird.
 
He'll be like this one guy I knew in high school who went hunting. He went deer hunting but didn't see any deer, so he took a shot at a raccoon that was near a squirrel. He missed the raccoon and killed the squirrel.

He may be like the idiot who shot swans instead of ducks. He'd get a license and then think he can kill as many animals as he wants. He'll think the forest rangers are dang dirty trolls when he gets arrested.

Edit: it's game wardens, not forest rangers :stupid:

From what I understand, white Southerners often claim to be part American Indian when they actually have black ancestry. Chris may find out he's part niggo.

He'll find out none of his ancestors were on the Mayflower and that he is not a descendant of Anne Boleyn and consequently has no royal blood in him. He's as common as rain in Florida.

He'd also find out about his inglorious ancestry and that his ancestors were good-for-nothing drunks who made a living moonshining and could barely support their families.

tl;dr - he'd realize he's not a special snowflake and that his family has a lot of skeletons in the closet
 
I read this as geologist (lol) which made even less sense.
(although his education through porn could make him an obsessed amateur gynacologist)
 
Even if the Anne Boleyn thing were true, Chris would eventually learn that there are hundreds of distant relatives of English royalty in the world. To claim so is not that big a deal.
