I'm making baked beans, tomorrow. Went through Hell trying to find salt pork, but weirdly I eventually found it in Walmart near the "odd meats"(black people meats).

I use a bit less mayo than in most American recipes i've found and i also put some Chinese fried shallots in chili oil on there, i could eat this every day until the day i die.

It's really fucking good. Made more for dinner today, switched out mayo for an avocado and put in plenty scallion greens, was pgood. Also fried the sandwiches in olive oil because i forgot to buy butter. Pork shoulder is something where I do a 24 hour sous vide at 165 before charring it and then make pulled pork. I hope hipsters never get into this. I hate it when fucking hipsters ruin some cheap cut of meat by causing its price to go up with hipster bullshit.Got a pork shoulder in the slow cooker right now. Going to use a root beer flavored BBQ sauce for it.
