What do you like about your life?

I really like my home garage gym.

It's nothing impressive, objectively. I don't have the greatest equipment. But it has a cage, free weights, all the basics and even some machines. I have all my stupid video game posters and banners on the walls and it's -my- space.

I have a pretty hectic life, but knowing I can slip away to the garage whenever I want and work out my stress really helps me deal with life.

Hard habit to break of not putting in a thousand "but...," but I'll try:
  • My children, who are part of people I love
  • People who love me
  • Health
  • A strong, good, inquisitive, and lively brain
  • Being interested in other people and the world, and what the world has to offer
  • The capacity to learn and grow
  • Historical learning and growth
  • A job that pays
  • A job that potentially challenges me
  • A home I own
  • A home in a wonderful area
  • Being a basically good person who cares about others
  • Nature at hand
  • Autonomy

That I wasn't born a pajeet, a nigger, a chink or anywhere else in the world. I should count my blessings a lot more because my life could've been a hell of a lot worse if I was born with a shit family somewhere else in a shittier country.

Being born white is kinda winning some sort of lottery of its own, shame I wasn't white, successful and rich.

Even though I'm neurotic and can get really Doomerbrained, I've always managed to fight against it tooth and nail and it's paid off well for me.

I really like my job, I'm very lucky to live within cycling distance, in general I'm thankful I live in a place where I can run/walk/ride in comfort and safety year-round and probably not get stabbed by a crackhead.

I'm proud of how hard I've worked on my art to get where I am, and I'm thankful that people say such nice things about it.

I love my family even though I want to strangle them sometimes, and I love my grumpy old cat.

My children
Hot water on tap
Enough money to pay the bills and buy the odd treat and save a bit, most months.

I should be more grateful for what I have, but life has knocked me recently.
Health, security, ability to create and love are what makes me happy and things are failing on those fronts

I guess the cats too. Most days, when they’re not being destructive fuckers
