I like that I'm naturally satisfied with a relatively simple, ascetic lifestyle. I've known a lot of people whose habits will always, always grow to the very limits of their means (or beyond) and it causes them no end of problems.
I like that I have a stable full time job with enough free time to enjoy things (even if it's not perfect everyday, no job is) a house, and low enough bills for me to live comfortably, albeit probably not enough to take care of a wife and kids. I also like my state, and the area I live in.
I like that I don't have to sweat the small stuff, and if I want to do something I have the means and time to do it (granted most of that is retardedly simple stuff like go see a doom metal band and stay at a nice hotel/bnb a few cities away, but I could do much more if I could overcome being so much of a pinchpenny). Also, it's nice to somewhat rest on my laurels, as I've literally been there and done that; I could die any time and it would have been a pretty full life.
I think having indoor plumbing with a toilet and hot shower and also a nice bed and a refrigerator for cold drinks if a luxury very few people in history have ever had and I do my best not to take these comforts for granted.
Actually my bed is old and collapsed in the middle and gives me neck and back pain but I am too cheap to get a new one.
