I really believe that they should have made a movie where the three animals meet the kid they saved in the first movie who is now a teenager and have one last adventure where he leads them to a secluded valley away from humans so they can have a happy life.

Fast forward to the present/near future where the valley is discovered with all the animals that where thought to be extinct. Have a little jump scare with an evil looking character who turns out to be a nature conservatist who states this place will be left allone under a nature protection act. Final image is a wall painting of the animals an humans together, like a family photo.

One Christmas special I can think of was about two kids who shrank down to scale a Christmas tree, meeting characters based on what people think Christmas is for until they reach the angel, who tells the kids about the Nativity. No I don't remember the title.

A reminder that the director/writer was aware people wanted the gang to reunite with the kid and that's why he wasn't in the sequel. And ever.

Alright boys, this is our chance, which Nick or Cartoon Network shows should we band together and buy? I am thinking Steven Universe for the humor of having Null own Tumblr's favorite show.

Edit: forgot Captain Planet for USPG2

Teen Titans Go! has Beast Boy, who is green. That's thematic enough for Kiwi Farms and enough reason to leave it on hiatus indefinitely.

I think the only Christmas special I watched growing up that actually referenced Jesus was Arthur's Perfect Christmas. Even then, it was only in passing.
I might be a bit late to the Christmas special discussion, and I’m not sure how much it counts since it’s not tied to any pre existing cartoons. But I just remembered Christmas Is Here Again, which I only know through a couple YouTubers talking about it being pretty bad and somehow having notable voice actors. Like Jay Leno as the narrator who won’t shut up.

Basically the premise is that Christmas was cancelled for decades because Santa’s sack was stolen by Not Krampus. Said sack is special because it was made from the blankets that swaddled baby Jesus. I think there’s a whole song about this. And somehow this is never really acknowledged again past the halfway point.

lolwat *yawn*
I'm pretty happy keeping The Birth of Christ The Savior Of Mankind and Santy Claus Coming To Town at a healthy arm's length from each other for my shitty holiday specials
I don't mind "St Nicolas somethingsomething then he's Santa" but unless it's a joke like South Park having Jesus and the right jolly old elf hanging around in the same continuity gets weird quick

The bag is made of Jesus blankets, that makes sense.

Side Quests? No. Finn and Jake having adventures is peak Adventure Time. This, not the faux le deep faux philosophy, or millennial job market metaphor, is what made AT great. Just a boy having adventures with his best friend in a magic land.

I hope they don't do a rugpull with this. If the series is as good as the trailer implies it can be something great.

Honestly, some of the songs alone make me think it probably wouldn’t be such a bad thing if it remained fairly obscure.
But hey, I guess it’ll occupy kids for like an hour. Not the worst Christmas movie in the world, but there’s hundreds of better ones.
