I take about 20g a day but that's for the cognitive benefits. Lower doses are fine for weightlifting and exercise related benefits. For weightlifting I definitely notice my muscles are way more full, I can feel them better when doing movements and I seem to get an extra rep or so out of my exercises. I've been taking it for a long time though so I can't really do direct comparisons.

what do you feel it does for you, personally
The biggest change I noticed was how consistent my gains became compared to not using it.
Now I don't randomly drop down weight sometimes, or feel fatigue for no apparent reason ( especially if I've done cardio recently )
And then there's a few minor benefits like helping with sleep deprivation

I'm so sick of this protein trend where everyone believes it's the miracle nutrient. This shit is why we have fucking protein Cheerios and protein Doritos lmao..
Local gym of mine just shills a brand (based within the same country) that touts Vegan and other unsubstantiated claims all while shoving down ingredients like sucralose in their product lineup.
Doing a bit of background check revealed they're operating from a residential house, which just screams drop shipping w/ custom packaging.
Yeah, I have the opposite issue with protein related mixes. Whey is fine and so is dairy but I REFUSE to use the artificial sweetener ones because it makes me have diahrrea.
Eu wide (digged within pages of slop) only seitenbacher came up with less cancerous ingredients or the usual whey in dairy at local grocery stores that's pretty bland. It's pretty dire imo
Protein mix ( milk protein, L-glutamine), banana powder, skimmed milk powder, citrus fiber, natural flavoring, turmeric, sweetener: stevia, sea salt.
Cheese is a GODLY cheat code for adding more protein easily
Only if you're also on a bind with lipids, usually never seem to be able to fit it alongside other foods except on odd occasions.

I got a fitbit air and it's interesting to see how my heart rate climbs during lifts. Nothing I can with the information, just interesting to see how different lifts spike it and how it drifts higher over the course of a workout.
How high does your heart rate get during squats and deadlifts? I've always been curious what mine gets up to during those because them and hip thrusts gas me the fuck out

I like being able to count the heart rate spikes when I'm second-guessing how many sets I did.

Just did RDLs today and wondered about my heart rate as well, it always fucks me up a bit and I dread doing that shit. Some cardio might help, of course, but still.

So mad right now. I have been doing extra hamstring work to strengthen that up while on my cut. Finally got to a weight where I felt that I could sprint again. First sprint workout, my hamstring cramps up and its been hurting for a week straight. Doesn't hurt to lift at all but the second I start running, it flairs up
