TLDR: The clinic wouldn't have been opened those days, and they had already relocated shots, anyway
What a crock of shit. These fuckers don't think most people with actual jobs are going to want to get a shot on their days off, not days where they'll have to get a second shot on a work night and then work in the morning regardless of how shitty they feel?

Fuck everyone involved in this shit. These goddamn cocksuckers. Fucking kill yourself, Sabat.

I honestly couldn't tell he was wearing panties. I'm sure sabat got real close to check them out. Probably got him to make more sacred ointment when he saw what it was.

This brings a smile to me.

I bet a dollar that dude is trolling. Other than arresting larger droplets of spit, masks are worse than useless; specifically because they routinely create a rise in CO2 saturation. So panties? I bet he was trolling and Sabat bit.

As far as SacAnime, I could really give a rat's ass. The convention center had a paying customer in the convention and kicked out the vaccination center. [Added In Edit: I know the clinic was not going to operate those days because of the planned event. It's the chicken or the egg] Also I'm tired of the government(s) telling us who may and may not earn a living.

To me, risking a barely tested vaccine to possibly repulse a virus with a 99.96% recovery rate (with co-morbidity) and a 99.998% recovery rate without just seems redundant at best and dangerous at worst.

All that to write this, seeing them get their hypocritical asses cancelled for defrauding the system to deprive people who WANT the vaccine, guesting VAs who defrauded the system to jump the line is just hilarious. Especially since they have all slammed Vic for drawing a crowd as a guest at conventions; well that just adds a layer of fudge to my sundae.

And despite Vic's con appearances which they tried to call out, even with masks and measures in place, they didn't get cancelled and he didn't have to delete any tweets over them. We'll see what happens here.

I'm of two minds concerning this SacAnime faggotry.

On one hand, while I'm not at denier levels of "lol it's just the flu bro" This whole fucking this had been blown out of proportion to kingdom come. Shaming people (namely the con itself) because they want to make some money is dumb. Doubly so because people who go to the con are fully aware of the risks and are making their own choice (which is what it should have been from day one).

On the other hand, the towering hypocrisy from people who shamed Vic for showing up to cons for people to (voluntarily) meet him is blinding. That's not even counting how they gamed the system to cut in for shots. And while I couldn't give a shit about the shot itself, seeing the people who virtue signaled something fierce about the perils of the coof helping deprive grandma of her shot is hilarious.

If this SacAnime thing grows into something more, perhaps a thread should be made for it?
We'll see how it pans out.

I'm not completely understanding this whole SACanime controversy, maybe because I'm a little inebriated...

So the clinic and health department, and presumably the people lined up for the vaccinations, have known about this since October of last year. Yet no formal statements were released from any of the three parties until all the media backlash?

And in my view, it doesn't make much of a fuck if everyone DID know about this way ahead of time. It still highlights that these egotistical con runners and voice actors and these snowflake fans put precedence of their little swamp meet over pre-scheduled vaccination dates. These same chucklefucks are the ones who are cutting in line for their own vaccinations, conforming to all the Covid doom and gloom that the left is exploiting, and crucifying Vic for going to actual legitimate conventions/signings even when he's wearing a mask.

I wanna end this mini-rant with two points:

-FUCK these disingenuous, holier-than-thou, rules-for-thee-but-not-for-me cunts.

-I say this a good bit IRL - Covid is not a joke, but the way it has been dealt with, is a FUCKING joke.

Taking things at face value, sometime in 2020 SacAnime negotiated space with the convention center to have their convention swap meet. The vaccination distributor also knew about this ahead of time, since SacAnime claims they distrusted the doses for the day to other centers, the vaccination center will be holding longer hours a few days following the convention, and the vaccination even doesn't even operate on weekends, anyway.

The convention decides it wants to make some money. Placer County, despite including Sacramento, is still relatively conservative politically, so there's a good chance the county as a whole just doesn't care that much.

Someone looks at the calendar and connects the dots. Outrage ensues.

Far as I'm concerned, I don't care that the convention owners want to make some money. I don't care that the vaccination center is closed for a few days. Pretty sure being late 48 hours isn't going to kill you. I more or less give the convention a pass on this.

Pretty much all Funimation VAs preached about the evils of the WuFlu, and were quick to lambast Vic for flashing his gay pants at his adoring fans. The hilarity likes in Sabat and Liebrecht, despite their company zeitgeist, dare go to a convention. Rules of thee, not for thee.

2020 in a nutshell. Be prudent in your practices, but don't fucking cripple our economy.

In his recent video (yet to be listed on YouTube), Nick spoke about the SacAnime debacle and says the real issue isn't that the convention is open, but rather the same people (Funi VA's) who frowned on the idea of a physically going to a convention or even a "swap meet" during the pandemic will now suddenly be willing to go at the expense of others who need the shot, just because they posed as online preachers to get vaccinated. Nick also mentioned that Vic talked about the SacAnime in his twitch and told his fans not to go after the convention or even the voice actors involved on his behalf.

While I agree that pozloading my neghole is stupid, that's not going to stop us from calling these people out on their bullshit and expressing satisfaction at seeing them get a taste of their own medicine.

Oh yea, this is all a "#ISWV narrative". Didn't know all these new outlets are #ISWV

Now remember, we can now send these news articles to any vendor, guest, attendee, or host venue that is interested in sacanime because if it was published to the web by a "credible" news organization then it must be true. Isn't that how it works?

Vic is such a good guy.

He knows that many of the VA's who will attend SacAnime have shamed him before for attending other cons, yet he won't encourage his supporters to call them out for it. At the end of the day, he only wants the fans to have a good time at the con.

As it should be. People go to cons to have fun (be it to party, buy random shit, or even meet people that enjoy the same shit you do).

Personally, I'm fine with conventions opening up, but what most people seem to neglect that what is upsetting is the hypocrisy and "rules for thee but not for me" attitudes. Honestly, the convention should have realized this whether they had it planned a long time ago or not. It's a pandemic and a lot of people are scared and/or want vaccinations, they should have worked something to keep it open while doing a convention. Reading sacanime's statement just comes off as them making excuses to me, but that may not be the case.

Yeah the SacAnime situation in itself I don't have an issue with, people need to start getting back to normal and living their lives, can't be scared that the kung flu is gonna attack you for the rest of our lives. What I DO have a problem is the absolute hypocrisy from the Funi. VAS about this. For over a year they have bitched and attacked others and spread the fear of covid. Then they pulled that "teacher" nonsense and cut to get the vaccine suddenly everythings rainbows and sunshine.
