💰 Grifter Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

I have heard that name before but I cannot recall why.

edit: wait was that the guy who spent a bunch of money on cwc's comics or something?
@DStecks ye gave chris $1000 to basically shit himself
When will CWC make comics about Weeb Wars? That's the real question...
When Monichu shows up.
Ah yes, Patient Zero.
On May 29, 2004, I, Christian Chandler, attended my first Anime Convention. I had a good time watching some Anime, sampling some Ramune (Japan Soda), and other things. My main highlight though was meeting the lovely and sweet-spoken voice actress, Monica Rial (pictured next to me to the left). Monica is well known for being the voice behind many Anime characters. Some of which include: Hyatt (Excel Saga), Saki (Steel Angel Kurumi), Mikako (Martian Sucessor Nadesico [sic]) and Shii (Puni Puni Poemy). She also sings opera very nicely, and she is a very nice, fun and sweet person to hang around with. She sure made my day a sweet one. ;8)

Are we going to get threads on Huber and Jason Liebredht?
Not a mod, but Huber, not sure if he's done anything worse than badly try to be a peacekeeper and his shit is minor compared to others IMO and Jason honestly really hasn't done much to even be brought under consideration if you ask me. Call me when Jason goes Full Schemmel.

He gave Chris $1,000 for nothing out of troll's remorse and then turned into an even shittier version of Boogie1488.

To those who are asking for Chuck Huber to be given a thread, ask yourself this:
Have either he or boogie2988 ever been seen in the same room?

You already have your thread.

In other news, Monica and Jamie have appeared together in Azur Lane, as Nagato and Furutaka, respectively. No idea how important those characters are, but that's another role for each of them this season.

@hanleia was anonymous to most at the time of the tweet. It's hard to fault the writer for not naming her now. BHBH never named her either, not in their initial complaint, or in their response to the TCPA, months after she had been doxed.

The writer of the article couldn't spell Nick's name right. Nor get the number of charges correct.

There is a lot of indications that the writer had done little in the way of research.

Chuck's trying so hard.

It is ironic that the KV supporters are the ones crying "TABLOID!" yet, they're feverishly supporting ANN, DMN, and any hit piece that affirms their views.

Just more evidence showing Chuck is serving his own interests, because his paypigs are Monica's whales.

They weren't bitching when it was just them relentlessly smearing Vic every fucking day for months without any response by Vic himself.

Man, piss off. Every large fandom becomes increasingly toxic as it gets bigger, and it always has. Because people, particularly fans, are generally terrible and when you get a bunch of them together they tend to make things meaner and uglier. NYC is one of the biggest cities in the world and, shockingly, it's not a land of peace and happiness where love and cookies are handed out for free on the streets. Fandoms are even worse, because they're often made up of antisocial or young people, and are almost always echo chambers of some sort. Thus, they fight over stupid, petty things and get violent and angry over nothing, making them toxic.

This has been happening for DECADES, long, long before youtube was even an idea in someone's head, much less before it rose to prominence enough to start drama channels and become a source of news for people. Anyone who says otherwise is too young to know the difference, suffers from 'this generation is so much worse than last' syndrome, or is lying.

Also it's stupid to say "Oh, ISWV is being too toxic to KV!" Kickvic, in general, wants Vic and his supporters dead. If not literally, then socially and career-wise. They're not shy about admitting it, either, and they actively try to make that happen whenever they can. I agree that there's a use to positivity and being 'better', particularly in certain circumstances, but thinking that somehow things will just be better if everyone who supports Vic just stops fighting back and plays nice is just absurd.
