So is there any reason for anyone to give a flying fuck about RT anymore? Practically everyone who was likeable to some extent is gone. Unless Burnie has been a faggot, I'm in the dark on that, stopped listening to the podcast like 4 years ago. It was the only RT thing I consumed for a while.
 
After the massive dumpster fire RT became,The fact they havent sold it to someone else is strange.
The company kept taking hits from there screw ups and bad products then insulted there own audience so how long til the death blow comes for them?

I don't know but somebody mentioned her in Vic's last Unlocked stream and he said that Chermi was a kind person/wonderful person (you know the Vic language by now) otherwise indicating he likes her or thinks she's nice.

Good to hear. I figure since she and him are both Christians. I was curious if she turned on him like all the other VAs. But according to the interview with Vic. Implies she hasn't. So that's good to hear.

What makes me laugh more in this statement is their belief that they "believe in those three things action+commitment+personal accountability to effect real change", while they're most likely a toxic+nepotistic cesspool and they affirmed previously how "they were anti-harassment" while condoning everything Monica&Jamie&KV which are their fans+shills did and are still doing to Vic. :lunacy:
Such powerful virtue signaling will break them faster than they think, I hope they had saved at least 1 million since they're probably end up getting the max punishment which is that 1M along the faboulous duo of liars&abusers perpetually-engaged-but-not-married-after-so-long, both parties have slim to none chances of getting out scot-free, while Jamie could still join them thanks to her own lawyer latest unnecessary ill-worded brief. :story:

It moves on to much more interesting stuff and the terrorist group stuff sputters out (because it dies) but that's how it starts and what the remake is almost entirely focused on.

That has to be the stupidest thing I've heard a voice actor do. I mean, hating Trump is one thing, but using a popular video game character to reference or promote a terrorist group is insanity. Any regular person who did this would be fired, so of course, she won't be.

I personally think it's two different situations. At first she's alluding to any scandal and how talking about it doesn't help, because the people assume you follow the company line and it's not really a VA's place to talk about it one way or the other, so probably specifically Vic's situation, and then she mentions how speaking out will get you blacklisted and references something specific she can't talk about, which is that quote where she probably almost gave up the identity if the interviewer hadn't interrupted her.

Sabat is the personal friend of Gen Fukunaga. According to Chuck Huber's affidavit, Sabat is the reason Funimation didn't immediately settle or retract and is now knee deep in litigation. His friendship with Gen also causes Gen to dismiss when people come to him with HR concerns like "I don't think Sabat should be running a casting couch in Funimation". which means essentially Sabat has unlimited reach and control over the actions of Funimation. In the NA anime industry, Funimation is huge. It controls sponsorships for big and small cons, it decides which VAs get to go to those cons (see: Kamehacon where a bunch of Funimation actors 'spontaneously' pulled out when Vic came back, also ACEN - I think? - where Funimation actors have been conspicuously missing every time Vic was at the con for multiple years until they just stopped inviting him)

Basically, instead of considering Sabat 'one voice actor', consider him more like a big wig, practically a CEO in Funimation, but without any of the liability and responsibility of being one.

Yet such a thing is a very common in the corporate world. Many examples where friends,relatives, and even spouses of owners have power over decisions and operations in a company. Very sad to see, but it happens.
