There was a once popular website in the 2000s called websites that sucked, so I want this thread to discuss that and general websites that sucked, but first, I want to give my critique. First off, their website sucks. It is bloated and has tons of pointless javascript. It has outdated and garbage social media buttons. There is a giant destracting copyright notice on the bottom. There is no HTTPS encryption, and most of the websites they review, while dated, render better on modern computer screens.

So now that that's out of the way, let's discuss websites that suck. I will start

Reddit -- a sanctimonious echo chamber designed to make you repeat certain opinions, no matter how repugnant they will be. It has a culture that defends porn and pedophilia under the guise of Leftism, but only because degeneracy is baked into its culture -- never forget how Reddit defended and boosted r/jailbait. Also unsurprisingly a big tranny grooming centre.
Tumblr -- helped kickstart the trans cult among the youth.
Twitter -- only good for fanart; the rest of it is a bunch of people with the personality of a brick.
Discord -- a virtual free candy van.
Instagram -- n*rmalfag central
Youtube -- not inherently bad, but appropriated by grifters and very selectively censorious.
4chan -- was good at one point and still can be good sometimes, but the trannyjannies are doing everything they can to ruin it, having invited lots of Reddit tourist coomers for the Fappening, and the admin doesn't care as long as he can sell your data.
soyjak.party -- much like 4chan, it was good at one point, but it's been ruined by right wing Twitter tourists, and incompetent datamining pedo admins.
soygem.party -- the Shemmy is better than the Sharty, but 'leno is a tranny chaser.
jakparty.soy -- home base for 'lita pedos.
soyzellig.party -- 'zellig is brimstone.
8kun -- pathetic carcass of a site owned by a porn king-turned-Qtard
8chan.moe -- oldtroon central owned by a loli connoisseur.

There's only like two dozen websites left in the world. There isn't really a point in picking through them looking for obscure bad sites. The entire web sucks.
 
TVTropes used to be really interesting actually. They had all kinds of stuff on it and even stuff 18+ like yaoi, hentai, etc. But then in whatever year they purged EVERYTHING adult related. Sucks. Also the staff and forum people are deranged.
 
All websites suck. The WWW itself sucks. Embrace other protocols.

The fake encryption, trivially circumvented by a malicious certificate authority, is wholly unnecessary for the majority of websites. Google pushes it to protect its advertising business, and for no greater reason.
 
TheQuietus website was shit for years, just visually ugly and hard to navigate. They were promising for like a decade to upgrade the website and this year, they finally got around to it.

Now it's worse! It immediately gives you two page covering pop-ups to beg for a subscription and once you've X'd those the website is your typical optimised-for-iPad bullshit. Really emblematic of shitty web design in current year.
 
Kiketube, Reddit, and Xitter all piss me off and I only use the first now. And that's only after I banned a bunch of the outrage grifters and potential breadtubers in the making. I admittedly got Perma banned on multiple Reddit accounts for mild shitposting and I got banned on Xitter for even milder shit, and this ban happened under the Elon ownership. Fucking jannies, man:(.
