I pirated it and am playing since 2AM. It's pretty fucking good so far, best CRPG i played since God knows when. Mechanics are crunchy, combat is fun, story is alright so far. Said it in the video game chat thread already but i'm positivly surprised how lore conform everything is and how much attention to detail Owlcat is paying to things, everything looks really fucking neat, tons of background details, the character models are extremly well-made, too. After being priced out of the hobby i am finally having fun with a 40k product again. The voice acting is a bit lacklustre but the game isn't fully voiced anyways. Haven't tried the spaceship combat yet, maybe that and or/the whole mercantile aspect will be shit but so far it's real fucking fun. It's seldom that i play vidya and find nothing to bitch about.

Edit: Shadowrun Hong Kong was the last time i really enjoyed a turn-based combat CRPG based on pre-existing lore, the writing in that game was fucking stellar.

Tech Priestesses do exist, and canonically Ciaphas Cain somehow found the time to bed one while fleeing from a horde of Orks after a crash landing. She even had a mechadendrite installed at the base of her spine like a cat's tail.

The more a tech priest goes up the ranks, the more you can expect him to replace parts of his body. So an initiate tech priestess is 100% fuckable. Afterwards it's a question how much the priestess is enamored with the idea of reproduction until she just transplants her ovaries into a servitor.

Well depending on how the initiation is handled. The blondie Cain liked seemed rather rural, while Cawl seemed to have been genetically engineered and purposefully selected.

So it maybe likely that an above average candidate gets cybernetised early on. As for later, most Techpriests don't like to bother with food and drinks, and legs are usually enchanced or removed. This is likely due to the fact that the legs and spine need to carry the weight, and the human hands are okey all purpose manipulators. Indeed the hands seem to "stay" for quite long, instead of being replaced they usually get additional arms.

This may just be a design choice by GW to add more human element to the AM hero units, but usually they got one human hand showing, and usually some parts of the face. Though in the books many appear completely mechanical, with the meaty parts hidden deep under metal.

So it is bad news for Coom God followers, most of the Machine cultists wouldn't be in lingeries outside of ... how do I put it, fan art of questinable canonicity.
Of course, the newly introduced Electropriests differ from this. They seem to be all buff and ripped. So at least you get half naked Electric Men.

Think it might have something to do with age, rejuvenat treatment can only go so far even in 40k when you get into your third or forth century (that tech priest Cain banged was mostly machine 80 years after the fact with her few remaining fleshy bits being extremely aged). Aside from that the only high ranking AdMechs that try to look human I can think of is the one chick from the mechanicum novel that made herself look like a 8 foot tall female robot and maybe a few ambassadors/envoys that try and make their augmetics more subdued to not make the fleshbags too uneasy

I'm watching an Arch Fantasy lore video and I think I feel like the biggest issue in the setting is how it tries to play it both ways. Like it has fantastic creatures around, but humans are in a ridiculous dung age that doesn't make sense. An example is a Gotrek novel where the duo prepare a keep from a zombie invasion and the keep as no defences against literally centuries old tactics despite humanity going against the undead for a better part of a millenium.

The admech itself is pretty large, shit like the biologis probably won't use straight up mechanical replacements, and the good replacements are expensive so it's probably rare for the poorer followers to replace things until they can afford a better replacement than the original.
