To go into this from last night, this has been an on and off battle for over TEN YEARS. Obama expanded the parks massively. Trump 1 reduced them at the State of Utah's request. Biden put back the restrictions. And now Trump 2 is reverting everything back to Trump 1 standards. Just so Utah can use its own damn land. There might have also been a SCOTUS case in there, its been a long fucking saga.
There needs to be a permanent ruling, otherwise there will be no development if area constantly shrinks and expands. No company would want to invest.
