This is probably going to become more common as everyone refuses to ever retire and is entering their 70s and 80s. I think the idea of an age limit in federal positions is required to maintain a stable democracy , Say you have to finish your term by age 80 or whatever.

People should be confident that the person they are voting for is going to do the job for the prescribed time, and be medically competent enough. Instead we have "well hes the one in charge, but all the sudden this person i didnt vote for is in charge of a national vote."

With all that said, Lindsey did seem fine and I wouldn't have said he was too old to run. I dont mean this mean-spirited at all, Im glad it seemed abrupt. If you gotta go, Id rather it be that verus the rotting corpse McConnell is right now, No one is going to remember anything from him aside from the last few years with him stroking out and becoming a retarded petrified potato

I kind of agree, but aging changes and Trump's obviously at 80 more capable than biden was at 70. To me having congress term limits is more needed. 3 house, 2 senate. But they'll ever vote against themselves.

It's kinda of wild that the white men in the 1860s-1930s did a shit ton of anti-white men amendments. Especially the ahem, 19th. Then the 17th, and so on that kinda nearly killed the country on and off. The founders had the voting right program rights (sorry foids).

75 seems like a good age. The youngest age requirement in 25 for the House. 50 year max for all elected branches and once every four years test for judges start at age 70.
