Spreading the Lone Star Ticks and Alpha Gal is right up the Hindu Supremacists ally. I've already found some farmers on FB that have found the tick distribution boxes on their property.
I've been seeing seething Vegans spread memes about breeding ticks for at least a half-decade now. I don't know what it is about the vegan mind that makes them want others to suffer with them, but it's pathological. I don't doubt the Hindus suffer the same mental illness, though hopefully all the dairy they eat might hold that in check.
Anyway, the single best way to wipe out ticks: pack some toilet paper rolls with cotton doped with Permethrin and toss them around your property anywhere mice are active, like brush piles, sheds, trash cans, etc. Mice will collect the cotton balls and stuff them in their nests. Permethrin is not harmful to mammals, so you don't have to worry about
pets dogs*, but keep it away from ponds as it will poison fish.
(EDIT:* I forgot, Permethrin is very toxic to cats specifically and can cause major neurological problems; you absolutely don't want to spray it on or near them. Or let them ever get near wet spray at all. However, the concentration I'm using works out to about 0.5% (5oz 13.3% concentrate mixed with 1 gallon water) which is much lower than the 45% sprays vets give dogs, and generally anything under 1% is below what most vets consider particularly dangerous and besides I'm talking about spraying cotton balls, not pets directly. Do not spray a cat, or let them near the cotton balls, especially while still wet. And probably don't let them eat any mice if you're using this, though it likely wouldn't be enough Permethrin to effect them. I've never noticed an issue.)
About 6 tubes per quarter acre will usually do, put them out late-April/early-May and again at the end of July through early August, that's when the young Lone Star ticks are on the move in the Midwest. If the ticks are especially bad, a third time in September can help too. I don't know the timings for the coastal areas, but probably similar.
A big 32oz jug of Permethrin costs about $30 on Amazon right now, should be enough for hundreds of tubes. 5oz mixed with 1 gallon of water, lightly spray the cotton balls, then pack them into the tubes. A single jug should hold out for 3-4 years worth of tubes.
It's honestly the cheapest and most effective solution to ticks, way better than when I've put granules on my fields or spray pesticides around our outbuildings. I can't kill the mice off, just too damn many, but this way the mice are killing the ticks for me. And even better, it kills fleas too. I have had a hell of a time getting rid of fleas on my lawn, this is the only thing that kills fleas now, since they've grown resistant to the usual vet treatments.
