Iran was going to be an issue forever. Imagine North Korea, but smack dab in the middle of the most vital shipping lanes in the world. They were using that power to strong arm Europe a lot. For example, look at all the nations who are afraid to interdict, and look at how Islamified they've become. The reason why the UK government keeps letting the Slams run roughshod over the country is because of the leverage these rag heads have. They don't secretly love Mohammed. They're being held hostage.

If you dislike the Islamification of Europe - If you dislike the rise of China - If you even think that the Ukraine war should end, then OBLITERATING Iran is a necessary part of stopping that shit.
one of the things i don't see anyone bringing up about this is how much power projection was just put out, and how much was doused, over the last 3 weeks. iran has been power projecting vocally on things like twitter or through the UN or their own press arm for decades, and on the first night, we had wiped out what seems like the majority of their fighting force, decapitated their entire government from military to civilian, and over the course of the next week proceeded to run uncontested in airspace that was alleged to be defended by the greatest tech outside of russia and china, direct from their radar factories circa the 1990s.

this is a huge embarrassment behind the scenes for ANY power players who had machinery and materiel invested in this country, especially the Russians and Chinese, because it reveals that they are talking complete bullshit when they claim their newest technology can detect aircraft like the F-35, let alone the F-22. this is a colossal embarrassment for China's and Russias' abilities to force project in the region because they were making big claims about radar and anti-air tech that their proxy state absolutely did not cash for them. this was fucking SAD. if i was a russian i would be suicidal seeing how much of a fucking joke my country had become, and China is already dealing with military purges and those big ol' phantom loans they keep not paying back piling up more and more.

the chinese century really isn't looking so bright, my chinkas.

eta: what's the matter, i hit a nerve? which one are you, chink or zigger? are you meat grinding right now, or are you drawing up beach plans TO meatgrind? i'm gonna bet... zigger.

The bigger point is how quickly people will surrender their own freedom and yours by extension at the first sign of hardship.

To be fair, anyone telling you that we need a king already has a very strong idea of who that king should be - and it isn't one of us.

It's so sad. This has been tried so many times before. It always ends the same way.

Despite my general disdain for Trump's methods, and his retard behavior, I do believe he's not a dumb man. The people that are insisting he was "Tricked" by Bibi into attacking Iran are projecting. Iran's weirdo cult regime was going to continue to be a massive liability for civilized society and I'm 100% convinced (and always have been) the moment these goat fucking retards got their hands on a nuke, they were going to launch it at Israel to appease their religious sensibilities. The global ramifications of that would be 1000 fold worse than what's happening now, and what will happen as a result of this.

I still want to know what the fuck it was that sent this action into "GO", when Israel bombed their nuclear program into ash just a few months ago. The only thing that makes sense is this was something Trump and Bibi set up from the beginning and Israel's campaign was the first phase. Trump securing Venezuela's oil was the second, and this is the 3rd.

more like, "said every loser since January the 20th, 2017 A.D."

Truly the most evergreen Tweet of the last 10 years.

Who isn't saying what you think he is saying. "Understand what you are getting yourself into, have an exit strategy" is not don't do it. As I have said before, that's reasonable advice to give to anyone on any endeavor, starting a business, waging a war, etc...
have to comment on the absurdity of this. you're upset that an Israeli PM knew his place and mildly warned against this plan while emphasizing how much more important Iran was as a threat.

did you want him to order Bush not to do it?

Never said a word about Curveball. I said Israel provided intelligence. Which they no doubt did since they did it in the gulf war, and in recent conflicts being the current one, or the 2025 one.
Israeli intelligence fell into line with what the Americans/British were saying after Ariel Sharon met with Bush and they did a give and take where they would publicly support the war while privately being against it in order to get concessions on the west bank. you would know this if you read the articles i cited

Curveball and Ahmed Chalabi were far more important than any Israeli intelligence.

And would Israel have kept doing that if it honestly thought deposing Saddam would be a major blow to Israeli interests, and security? No, it would have refused.
israel did that through multiple times of the US going against Israeli interests. Israel is a vassal state of the US.

So you were wrong on Iraq containing Iran then, even more so does that source of yours strike against your position since it clearly says the US shutdown routes.
Routes still existed but they were harder to move supplies through and often relied on air.

My grasp of the situation on any talk of a "multiple superpowers" or "multi-polar" world is for all the shit America's unironically going through or being a creaky world power.... everywhere else is either that much shittier and/or collapsing faster that we'll still be "the best" - so to speak - simply by default, via collapsing the least.

USA! USA! US
...A....?

(good enough....)

"everybody else just sucks THAT much more" has basically been 80% of the USA's success

turns out putting in the bare minimum effort is way more than anyone else is doing. :story:

I was reading some reports earlier that supposedly some Chinese citizens had been killed in some of the strikes, especially of the radars and such and the Chinese just pulled the profiles of a few of the major engineers on the J-20 Fighter program from some website about the J-20, including the radar guy. Probably a good thing, I can't imagine the Chinese government being happy if their fancy anti-stealth radar didn't work.

I think it's the water crisis leading to the mass protests and riots. The Iranian people want change, any change, to someone who won't run a desert country's water tables to empty. This is the best chance to tip the regime over and have the people take their country we've had in decades. So we don't have to go boots on the ground any where other than maybe the islands. Like Kharg Island.

The US is probably the most merciful superpower in history. You can literally chant "death to America" within its walls and, as long as you don't cause too much of a ruckus you'll get away with it.

there's been more than a few times IRL when I thought I was half-assing my shit and then I blew everybody else out of the water and I'm not sure if they really just didn't try at all or if they had brain damage or what

I keep getting the impression that there's way too much Potekmin going on from BRICs and Islamic sources.

that damn CIA/Mossad, collapsing that bank

It was a bank collapse that triggered it. They borrowed from themselves to build the biggest mall in the world in Tehran despite not having enough people to buy from it or occupy it.

did they really believe it worked in the first place? i wonder if it worked on the J-20 and that's why they thought it would work on the F-22, they were just outright saying with no data that they could definitely detect American stealth aircraft by assuming that it was equivalent to their 'gen 5'. I don't believe China ever showed any evidence of those radars being capable. this suggests to me that the j-20s are probably not actually stealthy, and would not in any way hold up in a dogfight against even an F-35, let alone an F-22.

same for Russia's beloved Nebo-M, which they've touted as capable of detecting 5th generation fighters since 2011, and have never shown any evidence of. i can only assume that they were using results from the prototype Sukhoi Su-57, because there's no way they just MADE IT UP ENTIRELY that they could detect stealth aircraft. They HAD to think they could. this is my cope to remain in the belief that all our enemies aren't just complete paper tigers. They were misled by doing American-style self-testing but because they can't risk using American military deployments to test things like their own stealth crafts' radar stealth, they have to rely on what they make to be accurate. a DIRE ask for the Chinese, and not an easy one for the Russians these days either.

It was a bank collapse that triggered it.
So the jews DID do it.

Interesting timing, huh?

Maybe our boy Kent will start a fundraiser for his legal fees?
whoa whoa whoa whoa, you mean the heckin' wholesome chungus 100 who did a complete 180 on his beliefs about iran in a surprise departure no one in the know seems surprised by (including trump already having tweets from him being pro-iran war) who has a leftoid wife in the media might have been DOING SOMETHING WRONG and was trying to get ahead of his bad behavior!? NO WAY.
