They've tried to kill Trump multiple times, they've murdered Charlie Kirk of all people, and we're less than 5 years removed from them occupying most American cities for a period of weeks/months. Now they're starting to re-occupy an American city because some dumb cunt wasn't allowed to murder federal agents with impunity. I think one of the things that has gotten many people who otherwise champion personal freedom and governmental restraint (myself included) to really root for the government to go gloves off with these protesters is that deep in our bones we know they intend to do worse to us as soon as they get the chance. If their morals would stop them from attacking g us, then they wouldn't attack LEOs either. The only thing stopping them from going after their conservative neighbors with that same sort of terroristic behavior is that, at some level, they believe there would be negative consequences for them if they did. So every time they go to a riot and harass the police and walk away unscathed, we know we are that much closer to them forming a mob and coming after us. We need the police to shove their heads in because our survival is on the line. We need them to know the consequences are real.
Most voters are old and out of touch with the current reality, which is the biggest issue. They still listen to legacy news and will completely buy every federal breakdown as overreach because they truly don’t understand how bad things are. Trump is popular, but is always teetering thanks to old people - see No Kings Protest. The Dems really had to go tard mode to make him win, which is why people here support their death by their own sword as the current strategy.
You probably aren't a member of a group that provides "training" for obstructing law enforcement and also probably don't hit law enforcement with your car. It means more here than it would otherwise.
I don't think that waiting for the most right-leaning generation of voters to die off is a good strategy before we start fighting back against leftoids.
