An interesting discussion could be had as how to properly retool voting rights. I've spitballed with people the idea of at minimum "male, father, non-immigrant, must either be a business owner or veteran." It covers the general idea of responsible decision making for people invested in the future of the country, but I'm sure even that has ways to abuse it. There's a fair amount of work in regards to ferreting out rot and getting society stable that will need to be done before changing voting rights can be done with success.
