I doubt the average Greenlander gives a fuck about who "controls" it. If the U.S. takes over, they get some U.S. immigrants who will come in and set up a few oil wells and mines. And a couple military bases.

If Denmark owns them, they'll eventually be owned by China who will do the same as the U.S. but without any care for the environment and a lack of Constitutional protections.
US already has a base there. Used to be called Thule air base. They changed its name to pituffick space base when space force was created.

only land owners should vote. And veterans too i guess. you should have to have some sort of stake in the game.
If I had any faith that it would stay that way, I'd agree. Unfortunately, it seems that any successful republic/democracy naturally tends to extend political power to lesser people until the absolute dregs of society has a say in the governance of their country. That being the case, I'd prefer to just roll the dice with an autocrat.

If this was decades ago, I would agree. If implemented currently, it would be mostly Boomers and Gen Xers living completely outside these current year shitholes, voting based on what the tv says and who gives the most social security gibs.

The younger generations may still contribute to society, but their current situations would mean that they are doing it to get raped by people with land that they have been completely priced out of. I would argue having a job would be a better indicator currently, but even then Zoomers struggle with that in the current hell market, irregardless of if they have a desire to work, they are locked out.

the whole "only property owners should vote" argument falls apart when you have somali daycare owners with 10 buildings and the government giving out housing loans to blacks and latinx people.

edit: not even to mention the shit going on with the jeets.

Yep, a friend's wife started teaching grade school last year. They hired her so long as she started working on getting the certification, and has something like 5 years to do so.

On a tangent - I took a class in college where everybody but me was in a teacher program. It was horrifying, I swear to God some of them couldn't even write on a fifth grade level.
Looking back, I really screwed up. One big sign looking back at it is that every other person in the Master's program I was in already had a teaching job.

As well, there was a former WWE guy who got busted for diddling 2 years ago here. He was a history teacher and baseball coach and had 3 million dollars in charges.

But the Anti-ICE/Antifa crowd has been going from hotel to hotel looking for ICE.

Now, getting frustrated, they've started looting and tearing it up as well as going up to the different floors to kick in doors.

Don't worry, if Walz DOES send the Nasty Girlz, he'll do like last time and send them out without ammunition and with the CO all carrying their bolt carriers so that faggots can do photo ops in front of them.
If they find ICE it will be a bloodbath, and not in the way they want. They will get mown down. Dozens will die, and the media will put on their surprised Pikachu faces as they drone on and on and on about the loss of life, but I won't feel a thing. These fuckers don't have two brain cells to rub against each other, and it really shows in the way they're so excited to get that limited gray matter smeared on a hotel wall.

Don't be so cruel and give me hope like that. :(

I wonder how many ICE agents in the area have this playing in their head right now.
