France and the UK fled with their tails between their legs because it was the US dollar and the US ownership of their bonds that kept their countries afloat, the UK got 48 hours to fuck off before Eisenhower crashed the pound to nothing.

Lend lease was good for our economy but we only showed up in the war in late 44 to try and fight the wine drunk germans of the western front to get a little territory, the ruskis were the one steam rolling the German asses.

I'll tell you what I tell assmad euros when they say this. Dwight D Eisenhower was the first Supreme Allied Commander Europe, a position which still exists to this day. It has never been held by anyone but Americans. If the US truly did swoop in at the last second and steal the credit for a war that Euros had already won, they were only successful in that goal because the Europeans immediately started calling them "Supreme Commander of Europe", like the flimsy cuckolds that they are.
More importantly, we aren't Europe's fucking nanny, it was never our responsibility to save their asses, and they should be building statues of us for sending any of our boys to die for them. You can't be "late" to a meeting you never agreed to. Europeans still come crying to us every time they face the prospect of war, even after decades of whining about us trying to police the world and stick our nose where it doesn't belong. Just look at the comments of any article or video covering the Ukraine war when it first started. Endless fucking Europeans crying for Daddy America to solve their problems for them again.
