I feel so much better. "Only" a 1 in 4 chance of being cheated on and "only" a 1 in 2 chance of your spouse falling in love with someone else.
>tfw my robot pal tells me that I have a 25% chance of getting cucked

Seriously though, it falls to 0% if you unlock the forbidden technique known to none but the highest intellects. Don't marry a stupid whore.

Sinclair reaching levels of based I didn't think they were gonna reach. I wonder what it is they want from Jimmy Kimmel? Maybe they know that they could run something else in his timeslot and it will get more views so they refuse to pretend that Kimmel has any high demand. Also the fact that ABC studios were literally shot up in demand of Jimmy Kimmel so fuck that.
They'll probably have him back on by next week but would get better ratings if they put old episodes of MST3K or The Twilight Zone on instead

No, Lupita!
I feel so much better. "Only" a 1 in 4 chance of being cheated on and "only" a 1 in 2 chance of your spouse falling in love with someone else.
And you believe this.
I guess you're right. Grok says "only" 25% of marriages have had (physical) infidelity. 45% reported "emotional infidelity."
You gotta go to a nice place, a quiet place like a library, there's good women there and church, they're good girls.
This completely true fact makes me want to kill myself.
My nigger, why would you kill yourself over a ho?

Which is sad because they're much better doctors than the striver robots whose only skill is memorization. Covid revealed just how stupid most modern doctors are.
I disagree with this take. I'll power level here slightly. Memorization will not carry you through medical school let alone the MCAT. Do you need to be able to retain alot of info for say the MCAT or step 1 (the first major exam in med school)? Yes. That's just the starting point though, the real thing is in being able to critically apply all that retained info as needed. Step 2, which is now weighted more heavily for residency matching is focused more on clinical aspects than rote memorization. Residency is a whole other ball game and to be frank you will forget anything not directly or tangentially related to your scope of practice. This is why your average surgeon like an orthopedic only knows like 3 antibiotics at best because they're min maxed.

On the topic of Covid, most physicians working at a hospital are following what're called protocols for care (some places have a different name but it's the same thing)and to be frank people without medical training/licenses are practicing medicine by limiting what physicians can and can't prescribe. Another thing to note is that your average physician, (residents even more despite federal caps) at a hospital is doing 40 - 60 hours a week and isn't always looking at the most pertinent research, this is why your average doc is like roughly a decade behind all the cutting edge research. So what do they do? They look to the NEH and look at guidelines they provide, there was a startling failure in the institutional front with respect to covid. At the start it was all chaos, i'm a med/drug fag and worked with drug targeting for it and even being plugged in it was hard to get your bearings straight at the start.

I don't agree with this view. It feels like coping. They won, whether we like it or not or the optics of it.
Won what? You people need to go outside.

A TV show nobody was going to watch is going to air... to nobody. And people will celebrate and be sad over nothing and the tv guy will get meaningless tv awards from tv people and nobody will watch that, either.

People... there are reruns of Stargate SG-1 to watch. And I just finished my rewatch of DS9 so we are totally fucking back.

Tonight's episode was a two-parter of Stargate Atlantis called The Return. When last we left our team of idiots, Dr. "Adolf" Wier had betrayed the Replicators for a second time, proving that humanity is entrely untrustworthy. We are given a new piece of tech which is a stargate bridge that connects the Milky Way with the Atlantis galaxy and that totally won't backfire in future episodes. A ship of Ancients shows up and our crew helps them and is rewarded by having Atlantis taken from them. OOPS!

This was actually a okay two-parter but mostly because it was a SG-1 episode at least half of the time and Richard Dean Anderson was a guest star. Robert Picardo also showed up, so it was fun! Blah blah blah they stopped a bunch of Replicators and save the day. It was kind of a relief to not have to deal with the Wraith as an enemy. I don't find them very interesting... they're no Goa'uld. The Genii show up for all of 30 seconds. What a wasted plotline the Genii ended up being. What is it with Colm Meaney getting decent roles but then not sticking with them?

It was a good showing for Atlantis, which was sorely needed. The third season has been a lot of dumb shit built on top of bad decisions and coated with a lack of internal consistency that makes for a frustrating experience.

Four more episodes to go before I can get back to season 10 of SG-1. The Ori slop is way better than anything Atlantis is offering.

oh shit you're almost at midway then, that's the best episode in the series
ori arc was ok they just got cancelled before they could finish it properly. but this is the politics thread so i won't go further than that

Why are so many female nurses crazy bitches
Don't even get me started on nursing. The NCLEX for RN's is not that difficult, which like ok that's fair a nurse shouldn't have to be as competent/heavily filtered as a physician and they legally don't have the same liability either but still. I can tell you now that nursing attract some of the worst people, nurses cheat at an insanely high rate. I cannot tell you the number of nurses I've met in my clinical experiences (am younger med fag) that're the meme stereotype of single mom that did a career change but nursing is more about her and her status than about care for others.

The crazy bitch nurse I used to know only became a nurse so she could steal the leftover morphine and pain pills. Morphine comes in single-shot vials, but the actual dose isn't an entire vial so there's a lot that goes to waste. There's supposed to be two people to dispose of it, one to do it and one to watch and sign off that it was actually disposed of, but they're typically so overworked that they'll just sign off on the other person having disposed of it without actually watching them do it. Probably many such cases

Thankfully most hospitals are getting better about that and when you scan out any opiates/benzos, etc it's tied to them so there's a digital footprint and chain of custody, and there's specific areas for them to be deposited for removal so if there's any discrepancy they can just check. Dosing is lined up too so you can't just push like half the dose and lie. Hospitals love that shit in case there's a malpractice case.
