I lost the post I wanted to reply to regarding this matter, but there's a couple of things I wanted to post. I have a bit of good knowledge about how the Visas work, nothing professional, just hours of tisms reading the official Visa webpages and reading them, not the actual legalese, just the stuff the gov says upfront. If I remember the story right, a chunk of koreans supervising the plant, or training people were caught with B1 visas which are usually tourist visas, I think you can even pull off some business stuff as long as it is short and the work amounts to cutting deals, having meetings, or doing a quick check on a project, kind of dropping by and giving a thumbs up. However the gooks were there for a long time and apparently earning money on US grounds while doing work in the US for a US company, at that point there's no way just a B1 is gonna fly. Really retarded on the gooks.
As a side note, I somehow made it to acquaintances inner circle group chat, no idea how, but they are all leftist, and with HEAVY TDS, I never post there because why would I, but one of the chiller more level headed people in there is getting tired of it since it's 99% bitching, either TDS, or about other people in the social sphere. Typical toxic catty shit.
I do however check on it every know and then to get a glimpse of what they bitch about to each other and how they "think".
For example, the hyundai thing, they were laughing about Trump having fucked up because these people were on visas, ignoring the fact that it was the completely wrong visas. It's clear that for the most part they don't really read the articles, just headlines or a tiktok drip feed of information. Its kind of sad, they are walking stereotypes, they clamor for diversity in a diverse city, yet go out of their way to avoid the diversity, the group is all white, and the "diversity" comes from being some sort of gender special degenerate. They always quote fiction to parallel current politics, and are terminally online. As I mentioned before, I have above average knowledge of how visas work, I lived outside the US in my twenties for work/studies, speak multiple languages, and work in STEM, from a not great background. Besides being a white straight male, I checked all their boxes as to what an "enlighted citizen of the world" should be, but they never bothered to ask my take. And it's because the few times they did, they didn't like what I said, and they didn't like they stumbled over their words when trying to argue back and failed.
Turned into a bit of a rant there but I checked on the chat recently and I needed to vent, and my IRL friends needed a break from my bitching.
