The entire Boston City Council is kinda under investigation due to Tania Fernandes Anderson's theft. TL;DR: illegal immigrant made Boston City Councilor used her office to funnel thousands of tax dollars into her own pocket via a hand-off in a City Hall bathroom. Michelle Wu and the others on the council told her to resign and she refused - the rest of the Council didn't want the Trump DoJ sniffing around, but Fernandes Anderson is Cape Verdean and they're some of the most unironically stupid people in the world. For whatever it's worth, Fernandes Anderson got caught and indicted by Biden's FBI because she was so blatant.

Now a lot of evidence is sealed at the prosecution's request. They say it's because it includes a bunch of data with personally identifiable information, and thus they don't want to have to redact all of it, but we shall see. Long story short, it's a mess. Wu knows she's in deep shit and some big money organizations want her gone because she basically raped the North End with her bullshit COVID restrictions.

Tania Fernandes Anderson, the woke BLM Muslim and former illegal alien on the Boston City Council was sentenced to prison on corruption charges on Friday.

Having come to our country illegally combined with the BLM and Moslem bona fides situated her nicely to rule over shitlibbery-addled Boston.

Then the content of her character caught up with her.

Now for the bad news:

Former Boston city councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson, who pleaded guilty to running a kickback scheme, was sentenced Friday to one month in prison.

One month. For this:

She pleaded guilty in May to securing a $13,000 bonus for a staff member and then taking an envelope with $7,000 in cash from that staff member in a city hall bathroom, and she relinquished her seat on the council.

The wrist slap sends a message to other crooks.

“Fernandes Anderson’s history shows that she never learns her lesson,” the government’s memorandum said, pointing to her being ordered to pay a $5,000 fine for an ethics violation related to her hiring her son and sister for city hall jobs before beginning the bribery scheme.

Sure she learned her lesson: Even if you get caught, there won’t be much punishment.

Her lawyer’s defense should have worked in Massachusetts:

Defense attorney Scott Lauer wrote that despite Fernandes Anderson’s background, “marked by poverty and trauma,” she rose to become what she saw as a voice for a marginalized community [yadda yadda yadda].”
